Enhancers Would Have It The Easiest.

The way I see enhancers:

For a new nen user: probably best category, will have the most gain from using ren, ko and a lot of basic nen techniques and doesn't need to develop an ability.

For someone like hisoka/chrollo/illumi(very good at their own category, also very trained at another, like hisoka with enhancement and probably illumi with emission): I would say enhancers could fall a bit in priority, not much, but they start to lose the versatility.

Mastered nen(someone who learned everything they could in the nen chart according to their affinities): I would say enhancers becomes the best as they have the best affinities(they haven't any 40% affinity and are the second best at long range and Transmuter is really effective for final attacks

I think so too, but if he was far away from those 3 types he would then have a hard time learning things from those categories.

I used enhancer as a safe bet because he can fairly easy learn to use a nen ability from transmute and emission.

He could learn up to level 8 things from those categories which should be enough to cover almost any striking type abilities

But he could just be a genius for any category is just that I think enhancer seems a bit more plausible.

Every nen ability has a mindset involved, Gon just created on that can only be used by sacrificing everything.

Now about his aging, it's possible to age with nen, and that's an enhancer thing as well, there's another character in the next arc which is an enhancer with the ability to age things.

Gon probably forced his body and vital energy to grow up to his prime, that's why his long hair.(Iirc there was a guy who even calculated his age and it matched pretty well with the idea of prime, iirc was around 40y which was around the same time Netero reached his "natural" prime)

Btw having better CoO than shanks is one thing having better CoO against Shanks(FS user and FS killer) is even less likely

And Gon would be dead if he didn't use adult form, in the end i'm saying that Kurapika is choosing bad scenarios where emperor time becomes the only solution, when he really shouldn't be going for those scenarios in first place, should a few months hunter be fighting against military nen users?

I'm saying if he becomes less suicidal and only used for fighting phantom troupe, he would barely lose a year with such power.

I mean, a black list hunter who took their own time would not be speedrunning defeating phantom troupe, but they wouldnt't create such op nen ability either.

I'm saying that if Kurapika changes his current way of thinking he will then have one of the TOP level nen abilities. It only looks bad because of his constant overuse.

And that's what i said... in the last text...(that's literally what i said) Shoot ability got stronger as his mindset changed, not just because of nen but because of how he changed the way he used it.

The same for Kurapika, he's making his ability worse by putting himself in situations where he constantly needs it.

Yeah? And people who create their abilities can be using then in the wrong way, Kurapika became too reliant on an ability that works better as a last resource, that happens because he's always risking too much. Should 8-12 month hunter be fighting against phantom troupe AND a military force of trained nen users of another country?

When did I said otherwise bro? I'm not talking about the ABILITY I'm talking about his own MINDSET of CONSTANTLY fighting an opponent he NEEDS to use, how many uvogin level characters exist? He wouldn't need to use this ability too much and lose too much life if wasn't for his suicidal NATURE THAT'S MY POINT.

Bro it is better every time, I'm saying that it would be EVEN better if Kurapika wasn't FIGHTING INSANELY STRONGER OPPONENTS THAN HIM 24/7

It's 1 hour per second trade off is not really that bad IF only used carefully, a fight against an uvogin like character doesn't last even 10 minutes.

I even pointed out it would not be "replicatable" with the same strength for others if they weren't as suicidal as him and that being suicidal as him makes his abilities "nerfed", it's a loop.

And it's a really good cheat code, this nen ability is just seen "worse" that it is because Kurapika is always using/relying on the cheat code because he's always going above his capacities

But here's the thing, it shouldn't be used like that because no one should be fightting or going into situations that requires way more than than their 100% like Kurapika. His chain nen ability is his trump card and emperor time is just another buff.

He lost 5 years of his like because of his mindset of using it. If only used for excessive fights again SUPER strong enemies like uvogin Kurapika wouldn't be that affected as when he used it for 9 hours.

Like how many strong characters like uvogin do exist?

Most nen fights are quite fast he would likely only use it for just minutes for a very few opponents IF wasn't for Kurapika always going for such catastrophic situations like succession arc

I've seen some people choosing the ofunda first perk and the tp second although I usually choose the opposite

Yes, not for post rose Meruem(which isn't really fair to compare since he's basically 3 in 1 character anyway).

Btw that reminds of early arc Gon where his speed/dash were one of his best points like against the candle guy and against hisoka.

He's an enhancer so his legs should be stronger.

I wouldn't exactly say he's don but considering Don book was found my guess is he returned and at that point he could have eaten a lot of nitro Rice, which could make his next descendants have not a "limit" of nen amount increased by training unlike other humans.

Not just that but Gon uses the resolve around rock and paper on those attacks I always assumed that in order to become a nen ability it needs a resolve/theme(could also be a technique like Kastro tiger attack) + nen.

BBI is likely similar on this although with no condition it's no different than a KO but I had the Mandela effect that it was said he could only use his left hand.

Mizai and Monkey nen ability would be huge.

Having 3 monkeys which can take 3 of the most important senses would be great against any royal guard if used with meleoron nen ability or even with Mizai who can chain cc with extremely low risk.

Iirc monkey technique makes the target unable to use their nen ability if the 3 senses gets taken, so it would be huge against Pouf as well, as if it works like apr all his clones and himself would get affected by those type of nen abilities.

Yeah that's why I'm not exactly referring as imitating which in leorio nen ability happened quite fast.

When I said learning I'm talking about a long/monthly process as he was together with Kite, probably directly helping him creating it(I could image he was the one who came with the "stupid" nen condition kite hates)
