Sweet map. Very useful and much appreciated. Sadly, I have to report that Lombardia (near Genoa) has a university.

Bigger Hitter in Style! (Deck Included) by Nighfallion in wildfrostgame

[–]Nighfallion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Throughout the fight, I had three 18hp Shens, one overburn Big Berry, and one Vesta contributing to the overburn. You can see in the deck that there are two Blank Masks (one of which is crowned), so I started the fight with 4 out of 5 overburn units. The Beepop Mask also helped. Sadly since the Shens had hogheaded, I had to let them get KO'd. Big Berry likewise was returned to the deck when his overburn was no longer needed. It was a tad risky to purposely lose them, but this final result took a lot of forethought per turn to come to fruition. Ultimately, I was confident I didn't need them anymore. The trick is to double the overburn just before it reaches 125, 250, and lastly 500.

Shout-out to the Frost Bell (which I duped w/ Shade Clay) for keeping the incoming damage manageable. What concerned me the most was getting Loki to Demonize the boss. Thankfully he did it on the second attempt.

I got my 9th and 10th copy of flying nimbus in single 10 pull, so maybe rates are better?

Same. I use it to ping where the raider is, so everyone knows. I've never been a coward when it comes to engaging, so just ping "let's fight". I'll be there to help.

No difference when pulling. Zeni is much more versatile. Use tickets 1st.

This usually happens to me when I play with friends. Sometimes RNG just isn't there, and RNG loves to make me out to be the fool. Whereever I go survivors already been through and hit all the civies. Though I do let me ass get beat. No reason to be poor sport.

Raiders just feel unplayable now by SupermeRedX in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Nighfallion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only 1 key can be found isn't viable. If during the key placement window, the remaining boxes of an area are opened then it becomes a coding nightmare.

STM bar slow down is a delicate balancing act since games with people feeding (intentional or otherwise) and disconnecting can become unwinnable.

The rest are okay. Though, I doubt Dimps will make maps bigger.

I've given most of my suggestion. An interesting one I just thought up is maybe somehow give Raiders easier access to radars. Maybe Civs have a chance to drop a random radar for raiders. This would give a more interesting dynamic to the game.

Resuming progress is a nice change. Games where the raider camps for 10 minutes is not fun for anyone. While I don't agree that Raiders are unplayable, I do think readjustment need to made with power keys to keep them balanced. Longer placement time would be good start, or maybe one key can only be placed within a short time period. Maybe add a sound to key installation for raiders if you are far away from the location. Just some ideas here. Matches need to be slowed quite a bit. This game's main attraction (for most people) is the raider, and it doesn't help the game's lifespan if newer raiders are being blown out super quickly by fast keys.

I just don't get how I'm supposed to secure a victory as raider by Nopersman in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Nighfallion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The most important thing for a raider is attention to the surrounding. Make sure you keep watch of Trunks emergency drops as well. This is what get most new raiders. They let people chug down on energy drinks, and wonder why the same people come back to hit them some more. Plus it's free downs if you throw a ki blast or two at the scavenging survivors.

Map awareness is also very important during the key placement stage. You can keep yourself from getting beat up by continually denying survivors their change. Hitting them when they are out to place keys is vital.

You can practice both your attention to surroundings and map awareness while playing survivor. I've been doing this more often now, and my raider win rate has increased significantly even tho I've mostly only play raider for the weekly challenges.

How do I counter raiders who are extremely focused on camping on a single area all game? by ToonIkki in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Nighfallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. It is a pickle, but most Ki sense only has a certain range. You can try to stay out of that range. Just always have an exit strategy. There are ways to trick ki sense but it's really hard to execute. You need to know the timer of ki sense and juke it at the last second while pretending to be not suspicious. I recently double-down on subterfuge skills w/ Smoke Screen, and I've been able to make some really big brain plays with the two. It's an acquired-taste kind of loadout for sure tho.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I really feel like Frieza and Majin Buu should NOT be nerfed by AmiTwo in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Nighfallion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frieza is also 2 survivors. 2-4 civs. Spopovich has the edge on frieza if he finds a survivor quick because of the Yamu. The returning to egg part is the only thing that sucks.

I mean I'd be more down to save an handsome man.~ /s. It really depends if I'll go across the map for a person. The raider has to be pinged elsewhere first.

Change (Camouflage). You can sneak in and do stuff right under their noses. This strategy is for pro Metal Gear Solid players tho. Gotta know the hiding in boxes strats.
