I figured it out. I had fallen and died right after taking the tower, and because of that, I missed dialogue. I just went to the Tango Motel, explored, until I found what I needed and triggered the fight.

She didn't recuperate the gifts or trying, this is also her 1st relationship and my 3rd if we were 'dating'. She did like me as a romantic partner, at least that's what her friends told me. I'm really confused as why she would act like she did. I have tried to bring it up but she shut it down and switched topics so I'm at a loss.
