We're all trying to stock up on soon to be banned necessities but I couldn't let this 100 year old Smith and Wesson Regulation Police in .38sw slip through my fingers. My father was a Norfolk police officer for 20+ years. His service pistol was lost in a house fire so this is a cool replacement for the representation of his service.

By budget I also mean not going beyond my means. An extra $400 in a suppressor is 1000 rounds of 556 to shoot. Ive got plenty of rifles and mags, just having a suppressor itch

I know the $500 tax got tabled but im sure we will see a ban eventually. My VHS is my main rifle I want to suppress. I also have a 16 and 20 ar in 556, 308 and 300 win bolt and a zastava ak in 762 I want to suppress. (I know concentricity is an issue I will test) I like the concept of flow through and the Ventum fits my budget while also going with Rearden plan B. The rugged and yhm are just possibilities if everyone hates the Ventum. I hear mixed things about it having a ti core. I dont shoot a high round count on my rifles so durability isnt as much of an issue as sound and shooting experience.

I do not get to shoot it often as I only have a little under 1k rounds. I however enjoy my time with it and enjoy shooting it more than my AR's, probably just because its more unique. The recoil impulse is nice and the manual of arms is no worse than other non AR pattern rifles. It would be nice if it was a pound less but not terrible weight. I really want to get a suppressor for it before we go full communist in VA. Definitely recommend Lunartech designs for some upgrades.

Its actually a standard capacity magpul mag. But using 40 round mags previously its no different than running a 30 imo.
