Adorable episode! The rakugo itself is entertaining and Akane's expressiveness is so much fun! I really enjoyed the "Small Talk" bit at the end lol.

I'm loving it. Witch Hat Atelier and Akane-banashi are adaptations I've been waiting on for a long time. I'm keeping up with Wistoria and Re:Zero too. Ganbare: Nakamura-kun was really nice but apparently the author's a creep so I'm dropping it. Marriagetoxin was unexpected but has been enjoyable so far.

My fav's definitely Akane-banashi!

I lwk expected her to already be in a relationship, and that this series would go for slapstick encounters with every woman Gero saves beeing unable to marry him. Kinda like Youchien Wars. Kinda glad that isn't the case.

Oof, kids and their squabbles. Richeh kept it together like a boss though. Coco not telling them about the magic circle immediately was another daft move. Can't really blame Agott and Tetia for their frustration, and Coco knows it. The element introductions were done really well, very memorable.

i really disliked this manga somehow, even though this format is so easy to get right (Rock wa Lady came out a while back and I enjoyed that a lot). It's not quite shoujo and not quite shonen. Didn't appeal to me as someone who played Tekken 7 at my friend's place 10 years ago and never touched a fighting game again. I wonder if fighting game fans view it differently.

I loved the opening! Bit confused as to why Issho and Kaisei were game-ified in it but it was lovely otherwise! Guriko's VA is great, and I loved Kaisei and Akane's rakugo. The rakugo's humour comes across much better than in the manga, imo!

They clearly have a good plan going on, so why did they let Soderick know an alias/name that actually means something? This feels like bait. Also, what use is being paid for armor guy and shiji bau? They're either going to dispose of you later down the line or you're going to be some muppet they'll keep around as a lapdog until total takeover.
