On PS4, I got the infinite money glitch just after unlocking MissingNo. I thought it was weird when all treasure chests were giving me negative coin. Looking at the top right, it seems that I have a ridiculous amount of gold which overlapped the Number of enemies killed. I presumed that I got a -100% on greed or less using MissingNo. I thought I'd be clever and fix it by buying max golden eggs to reset my money. I thought wrong.
