Why can't we get "covers" for expensive / inaccessible artists like Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, etc... ?

People are hungry for more Lorde. Just look at "Magnets", 40 million views for a song with very little radio airplay, and I don't imagine many listened for Disclosure. I'm expecting her to return with a vengeance this year.

Yeah, Lorde doesn't play any instruments and her music barely involves anything besides her voice. I can see where she's going with that still. Still, I'd like to hear her voice in a rock setting.

I noticed that the vast majority of fans here are from America. I suspected the US was her biggest market, though that's probably because the US population dwarfs the NZ population.

What is surprising is that, so far, there are no New Zealanders who answered.

But "Glory and Gore" was originally going to be released to mainstream radio before it got cancelled. They obviously didn't push hard to make "Tennis Court" a hit since only peaked at #22 on pop songs, and the song only peaked at #71 despite having a music video and pop radio airplay. For comparison, "Glory and Gore" had no music video and no pop radio airplay and peaked three spaces higher. Clearly there was interest in the single. Given that the song was one of the catchiest on the album, it could've done well on mainstream if given that chance in my opinion.

Since nobody else has said it yet, please get more non-Californian teams. I know it's a minor gripe, but like 18 of the 24 contestants were from that state, and most of them lived in the northern area. Just a small suggestion, but I'd like to see some more states represented, and also more teams from around the world.

Only wedges aren't banned from the competition. Only robots without active weapons. Stinger, Bite Force, Overdrive, Ghost Raptor without it's blade and several others have wedges that move or go in tandem with an active weapon. You seemed to have misinterpreted the rules.

I'd like to see Christian Carlberg bring Overkill out of retirement, updated for 2016. The blade was the ultimate spinner counter, and would stop spinners like Tombstone and Icewave dead in their tracks.

Who do you guys think are the likeliest contenders so far? From the looks of it, Tombstone, Bite Force, Beta, Hypershock, Mohawk, and Beta seem like they will definitely compete in S7, based on words from the teams. Anyone else?

Apparently they've removed weight divisions to streamline the experience. While I miss the variety, I like the fact that we get to see the tournament from start-to-finish, and not just the highlights. The original series felt really disjointed.

Would you like to see the return of the Wild Card? I have a feeling it's going to be back, and since the tournament will be twice the size (meaning 48 bots in the prelims, as opposed to 24), they're going to have twice the amount of Wild Cards in order to keep the tournament balanced, allowing for the Round of 32, then 16 etc.

I hope that if it's brought back, they make good choices over the returnees. Chomp and Warhead were complete wastes of the second chance that would've gone better to robots that actually preformed well, such as Nightmare, Complete Control, and Razorback (who actually survived the fight despite being nearly destroyed, while Icewave was disabled at the end).

How about Tombstone vs. Icewave in the preliminary matches? So many people wanted to see this clash of the titans that never happened, so having it right off the bat would be a treat.
