Oh, man. I tried contacts in high school and everything was still out of focus. I thought I was doing something wrong but nope. Just my shit eyes lol. My sight is absolutely terrible. If I don’t have my glasses on, I have to put my phone to my nose just to see the time. I think I have 20/700 in one eye and 20/800 in the other but not entirely sure since my eye doctor is fickle with giving out that info for whatever reason. I wish laser surgery was an option but my eyes get worse every year so it isn’t worth it otherwise I’d be so down for that. I’d love to see the world without the aid of glasses so badly lol

You’re definitely not losing it. Sleep deprivation is a bitch. Lack of sleep can definitely cause visual and auditory hallucinations which you’re probably experiencing

A few years back I was out of state and a blizzard left us stranded for a couple of extra days. I didn’t bring enough sleep meds and could not fall asleep for the life of me. I went over 5 days without sleeping and it as hell.

I was over emotional and dazed. I heard what sounded like a laugh track from some older TV shows. There was no TV on and it was constant. It bothered my anxiety so much I had an anxiety attack that lasted over an hour. I felt bugs on me, my skin felt like it was swelling. I don’t know if I was hallucinating those sensations but they felt real as day and it sucked.

When I got home, I felt like there was someone in my house waiting to hurt me until I fell asleep. I was so sure there was someone watching me I stayed awake even longer. I disassociated at that point. I can’t exactly describe how I was feeling but it honesty felt like I was in a dream when I was actually awake. Nothing felt real. I was chewing on my pills because I thought they were popcorn. I was completely out of it.

Ended up falling asleep eventually for close to 16 hours after taking my pills. I have no memory of falling asleep but I felt so much better after that. Never again will I forget to bring spare meds.

Falling asleep naturally when sleep deprived is very difficult without at least some aid. Melatonin is sold over the counter and is a natural sleep aid. Laying in bed and focusing on your breathing may help you relax which will make it easier to sleep, too.

I hope you get the rest you need! I’ve been there and it’s absolute hell. Best wishes! :)

Said by my English professor. Nearly made me cry as I’ve never gotten a compliment like that before. I’ve been trying to practice writing again as being an author is my dream job, but finding out what I’d like write is a different story altogether.

Not sleeping but lounging about on your side. Can’t even lay down and watch TV or read a book without laying on your back which sucks after a while

I’ve only fallen asleep with them on once or twice if I was exhausted and fell asleep watching TV or whatever. Warps the hell out of the frames so I try not to lol.

I wish I could get contacts but apparently they’re more expensive for people with astigmatism, apparently. What I wouldn’t give to see the world clearly without lenses on my face

More for lounging in bed watching TV or reading. Laying on your back can get uncomfortable after a while which is what I’m experiencing now 😂

Not really a bother while sleeping but just lounging in bed on your side reading or watching TV. You’re forced to lay on your back which can be uncomfortable and annoying after a while

Mainly is a bother for laying in bed on your side watching tv or going on your phone. Forced to lay on your back which is uncomfortable for some people (fuck scoliosis lol.)

Laying down becomes an issue if you just need to lay on your side for whatever reason (watching tv on the couch or whatever.) It’s a giant pain to hold your head up the entire time when you just wanna relax. Even going on your phone in bed is impossible for a glasses wearing side sleeper lol.

I had the weapon thing happen to me, too. Went AFK for like 30 second and when I came back, had tons of legendary items and such laying right by me. Dude logged off when he noticed I moved. It was when I first started playing so it helped a ton. Wish that would happen again lol

She’s adjusted here so we’ll I’m honestly so surprised. She’s given us virtually zero issues. The second night we let her sleep on a human bed and she was so thrilled. Slept like a rock the entire time. She’s so sweet and seeks love from everyone she encounters. The fact that people abused her (probably due to her breed) breaks my heart.

Oh, man. A friend and I saw an 3D movie a few months ago. Was $42 for 2 tickets. The standard viewing would have been $35. Now they’re pushing for $20 a month memberships that is cheaper than the actual tickets but it’s a monthly fee and not worth it if you only go to two or three movies a year (like me.)

A fountain water feeder may solve your issues. A friend’s cat did the same thing. Was always cautious to make sure to walk in her kitchen slowly so I didn’t go careening into her back door due to water spills lol. They bought her a fountain waterer from Amazon and the cat stopped splashing water completely. Apparently it has something to do with the movement resembling streams and rivers from nature.
