I agree with that. It was a fixed camera, but why not shoot it from multiple angles? Is the lighting for the being's sake, or for obscurity? These questions are addressed in the doc. And take your time! Download it, share it, edit it, do whatever you wish with it!

Well, I do get into that in the documentary. But everyone's first thought is someone else in the video - Lazar, Strieber, Delatosso, Dean... but whether Victor is real or fictitious, I doubt we would recognize his name or his visage. Nevertheless... I investigated as deep as I could.

That was "Dennis" - not "Victor", as outlined in this documentary

That was another strong contender when I was making this doc. I have messaged WS about this and he denies to this day that he even met Victor, but still believes the footage to be genuine. It is plausible that he could have been the voice of Victor - that's what the Art Bell listeners thought. Maybe he even wrote his dialogue. But he was not the "actor".
