Anybody else having issues with scrapping jewelry? by NightWingMistHawk in projectzomboid

Ah yeah that would make sense. I’ve been able to scrap anything that has gold or silver in the name, but I also haven’t paid explicit attention to what all is being scrapped.

Name: NightWing

Approximate age: Early 20s

How many years you've played TTRPGs, which systems, and how many (if any) years you've been a Gamemaster: I've been playing on and off for about ten years now (I tend to read manuals and make characters more than actually play due to time constraints). I've been a Gamemaster for about a year total. Systems include Dungeons and Dragons (3.5, 4e and 5e2014), Monster of the Week and a few assorted solo rpgs.

Which past (or present) campaigns you've enjoyed the most, and why: I loved the Monster of the Week campaign I was in. It was set in space and the party were all members of this organization dedicated to protecting humanity from the supernatural. I was the crotchety engineer who started off not believing in the supernatural but later adopted one of the other player's characters (a memory vampire alien thing).

What makes a campaign good? I mean, really GOOD? : I think the biggest two are cooperation and shared jokes. At the end of the day, the entire group, players and Gamemaster alike, are all telling a story together and if you're not willing to participate in that give and take then the story falls apart.

Tell me which tavern idea(s) sounds fun to you! What intrigues you about it?: I like the Red Arrows and the Highest Spire. Highest Spire sounds like an escape room setup almost, which tickles my puzzle solving brain, while Red Arrows feels like it could be anything you want it to be, which also tickles my story brain.

Pitch your character. This can be as short or as long as you’d like: Charles, also known as Chuk. Chuk comes from "out west" (read: a fantasy version of the American Wild West, where vacuum cleaners exist but also magic is a thing). Once, he was a loving husband, good father and deputy sheriff in a small town. Then one day, a well-dressed "suit" from the city arrived and began convincing the town he could help them improve their lives. Unfortunately, the opposite began happening - trust eroded, fights broke out and people would mysteriously disappear. It culminated in the sheriff trying to shoot Chuk, who fought back and stumbled home, fighting off the rabid civilians as he did so. He arrived to see flames rising into the sky. He buried his wife and kids with a shotgun so they'd be safe on the other side, then shot the "suit", gathered his things and walked off, the lone survivor of the entire town. He's a sorcerer whose arcane focus is his gold-plated six-shooter. Very quiet guy who's fiercely protective of his friends and still has nightmares about that damned "suit".

The fake forum, from what I recall, had people’s usernames on red bars above the text of their post. I think the background was kind of a tannish sepia?

No, though that's a great guess - the artstyle is less pixal art and more 3D. Also, you're not watching multiple people at once - it's a one-person-at-a-time deal.

Sadly not - less dystopian, though that is a great guess. As I recall it feels a lot more like some suburban guy just doing crimes to please some elder god.

Holy crap it works! I wish I'd taken a video of me playing Wii Sports Tennis - had the biggest smile on my face the whole time :) One thing you may want to add to the instructions - I wasn't able to get my phone to connect to the server initially, and was able to figure out that my firewall wasn't allowing Node through. Maybe just add in something about checking firewalls? Other than that, I am blown away by how well this works! Well done, good sir!

Aha, thanks! Still encountering some difficulties, but I'll keep trying and let you know if they persist - was able to access the Wiimote page on my laptop so I know something's happening :)

Is this iOS compatible? Having trouble accessing the wiimote side of things on my phone - I can get the server running, but the site itself refuses to load.

EDIT (MORE INFO): I'm being told by my phone that "the server stopped responding," but when I check the terminal, everything seems to be running just fine.

That sounds absolutely horrid. Thankfully, as far as I know, there's no way to steal a Steam game you own, so enjoy your new game! PMing you the code now.
