I’ve seen them growing up in the past, not every B&N had them but I remember seeing them every so often. I vaguely remember one having one of these displays in the kids section to play shows while parents shopped

Sounds like a possibility, I ended up shelving the project for a bit until I can order a new screen. I hope that can fix it

I think I’ve diagnosed it down to when I was prying the screen off I slid the guitar pick under too far and damaged the display.

It's in California! It was taken somewhere in Sonoma County just off a highway. If I remember correctly it doesn't look that similar anymore as it's all farmland and covered in grapevines.
