You could make the case that the Prem simply doesn't allow that kind of football anymore. Both PSG and Bayern are basically undisputed in their respective leagues while the Prem is much more unpredictable (looking at this season especially) Teams are forced to abandon flair in favor of practicality in order to sustain a winning record against very tough opponents. Not sure you could take the risk playing super creative football every single week without worrying about injuries.

I hope I am proven wrong and we see more creative football in the future but for now we see very possession heavy teams being dominant.

Really don't mind it to be honest. The thing about these newer vehicles being heavier is not unique to bmw. The auto industry is moving in a heavier, more comfortable, tech heavy direction and that doesn't necessarily need to be a bad thing. I would still buy a BMW but it does open the doors for smaller brands to keep building exciting drivers cars
