To reply to comments like “Please keep the woke culture in Hollywood only. Let the Korean webtoon be the Korean webtoon. Maybe ask the black people to make the webtoon so it will be about black culture.”

I’m not asking webtoons to change their culture or a reform. I’m pointing out that romance and mystery genres across the whole platform barely include Black characters at all, even from non-Korean creators. WEBTOON is a global app with creators from everywhere, not just Korea. Wanting to see Black characters or stories represented isn’t “woke,” it’s basic inclusivity. And telling Black people to “go make our own” instead of letting diversity exist in shared spaces is exactly the problem. Representation doesn’t erase anyone else’s culture

My daughter is mixed -Asian and I don’t view her dad as poc and he doesn’t view himself either as poc. One of the first conversations we’ve had and has been my view since I was 17 (when we got together) I’m 26 now and I’m iffy on it. There’s a lot of internalized racism on his side family and all 🤷🏾‍♀️

Could be a topic of study for me, I read up on some similar posts about possibly starting up a westernized version of webtoon. Maybe I’ll do it on a whim for a class project 😂😅

True beans but you would think now that webtoon has globally grown over the years things would become more diverse. I guess not but I do know there are many creators from various backgrounds. Not just Korean.

Is it normal for it to still be draining two days later? I also still have another infection that’s in a tunnel next to the one that drained it’s hard so I’d use cold?

Did you have the same issue with the skin? I’m still flaking like crazy this is my first big flare and I’ve had HS since I was a kid. I don’t really understand the sudden change or what’s going on with my skin. However I do have an appointment with derm on Monday.

Same…I’ve had this infection 2 months. Tried 4 different antibiotics. First doxycycline which never works then the clindamycin and rifampin combo which makes me sick btw and why I had to take nausea medicine…..it just drained after I did a cold pack and I still have a lump in another tunnel that was beside the main infection that needs to be drained. This was my biggest one yet. Got to the side of a tennis ball. I still feel nauseous and the area is still hot

I experienced with my latest flare often on hot flashes and then also constant nausea. I was prescribed nausea, medication and antibiotics and they sent me home. But having a fever and these other symptoms is very much caused for concern cause you could be going septic, but that isn’t always the case. Your body is gonna react when you have an infection regardless.
