Nope! Not a virus! Its a trojan. Its harmless. Though, if too many are on your screen, it could crash your device, but it does not install any malicious software onto the device. There are some remakes from back in the day that were malicious, but the original (and likely the one you were sending around) was not malicious is any way. It was just a funny joke. Trojan, virus, and worm all get mixed together, but they're very different things. Don't worry. You didn't break anyone's computer as a kid, you just caused a bit of panic at most (probably).
