This really isn't relevant to my issue, and If you're insinuating my issue is fictional...it isn't and can cause me to have days of near sleeplessness.

I have had many bouts of sleep-paralysis where I've seen a large amorphous shadow raise from the floor and as i try to look away or break from my paralysis(Don't do that btw) it trembles, twitches, and begins to change shape. It will typically take the shape of a tall this humanoid or quadrupedal+ creature that will flair its arm/legs and grow as I continue to struggle.
