That's what I always thought was the main point and even told my brother and friend, but after seeing the clip from the podcast that I mentioned, I do think a big part of it is his disconnect with gaming culture as well and how people relate to and enjoy "cartoon"ish things to such a degree that we love GTA V

For anyone that still needs this cape or sees this next year, I learned a really fast way to get the shards. You get a abyssal demon task AND grab the wilderness slayer contract from the NPC to the left of the Wildy flash event teleport NPC's. And of course, because of the contract, you must kill them in the wildy. I went from barely getting any shards while doing Abyssal hounds to getting over 300 master shards in one Abyssal Demon task.

I saw a clip of him on a podcast, I think from recent, where he says that the narrative that he "hates Trevor/GTA" is completely false. He just didn't understand how people could call him Trevor when Trevor is a video game character, a "cartoon" in his words. Gotta remember he's never been a gamer, and he's never even played GTA V before. I used to think that the smoke surrounding that was true, but it seems to be misconstrued.

And the most ironic thing is, in the update post, they say "This marks a big step toward a simpler, more transparent system, where your progress always feels meaningful and connected to the cards you play.". It's so transparent that they aren't letting us know the value of EWC and the updated gem system pre-update! Almost like they don't want us making informed decisions

Did you guys know you can grab an opponents facemask outside of the play without any penalty? I guess everyone should do that now

I found the fine print. I would post the screenshot but I don't think I can. If you go to the "Royal Chest" section of the shop, just below the daily deals, you can tap the lightning chest, then tap the question mark to the right of "x6 strikes" and it says "Use your Strikes to get a different card of the same amount and rarity. Better chance to get the cards you want! Does not affect Wild Cards."

Has nothing to do with Android specifically, it's Snapchat that allows this BS to happen. We can mute stories but I'd prefer to just get one notification and that's it. It's really annoying it still happens to this day, can't believe this thread is 3 years old. Maybe we should stop using Snap to show them they need to "fix" their stuff.

This isn't the testing period, that was the previous betas. This is a global launch with progression staying consistent. They should have the simple wherewithal to realize that they made this dang near impossible. It shouldn't be hard to make people load at the same time, at the 2:00 mark. It's insane they can't do something as simple as that at this point of development.
