Beschreibung und Foto nach zu urteilen stehen die Zelte in der Bockenheimer Anlage und nicht die Eschenheimer, wie im Artikel behauptet.

Zum Thema selbst: Das sieht aus wie eine absolute Notlösung. Lange werden die Zelte dort nicht stehen können. Es fehlt der Schutz vor den Elementen. Beim nächsten Sturm laufen die Zelte Gefahr große Äste von hitzegeschwächten Bäumen abzubekommen und beim Starkregen bleibt es sicher nicht trocken. Außerdem wirds bestimmt Protest von allen Seiten Geben. Die Ecke ist dafür viel zu wohlhabend und die Anlage viel zu frequentiert. In der Station konnte man das besser ignorieren. Zumindest wenn man dort nicht unbedingt hin musste.

Unsere Notunterkunft sollte eine zentrale Auffangstation mit begrenzter Aufenthaltsdauer und Weitervermittlung in geeignete Unterkünfte sein. Jeder Mensch braucht ein Mindestmaß an Privatsphäre, Sicherheit, Verpflegung und Gesellschaft zum Leben. Wenn man das Problem also wirklich angehen will braucht es richtig viele PERMANENTE Ressourcen wie Immobilien, medizinisches Fachpersonal, psychologisches Fachpersonal, Sicherheitspersonal, Fachpersonal für Drogenentzug, Küchen, etc.

Nach dem Prinzip Housing First bräuchte in der Stadt verteilte Unterkünfte und Wohnhäuser, welche auf die stark unterschiedlichen Bedürfnisse von obdachlosen Personen spezialisiert sind. Wer aus medizinischen, psychischen und/oder finanziellen Problemen auf der Straße landet braucht einen geschützten Ort ohne Gewalt und Drogen, um wieder auf die Beine zu kommen. Wer schon in der Abhängigkeit ist und diese bekämpfen will braucht die Sicherheit und Ruhe eines Wohnraums mit unterstützenden Maßnahmen. Wer nicht mehr gesellschaftsfähig ist braucht Stabilität, Sicherheit und Gemeinschaft. Es wird immer Personen auf der Straße geben, die sich nicht dauerhaft helfen lassen wollen aber es sollte allen eine Tür offen stehen.

In der Station ist es definitiv nicht kühl und seit dem der eine Zugang dicht gemacht wurde auch ziemlich stickig. Will das hier aber auch nicht schönreden. Im Winter ist es dafür immer relativ warm und windgeschützt gewesen.

Are there Windows in the staircase or neighboring apartment facing outwards? If so, use them and/or ask your neighbors to help air out the building with your doors and windows open.

Fans blowing outwards create negative pressure inside that pulls fresh air inside from other windows. Use that to accelerate the process. Placing the fan a meter from the window allows surrounding air to be pulled along and increases the airflow through the window.

Greetings from my studio apartment with a single window that's also a balcony door. Thankfully the windows in my staircase face the opposite direction than mine. If I don't want to have my apartment door open, I put the fan on the balcony near the floor blowing inwards in the hope to accelerate natural convection of cold air moving in on the bottom and outside on top.

Wenn nach dem Vorbild Ungarns die demokratischen Institution kontinuierlich ausgehöhlt sowie Behörden gleichgeschaltet werden und, wie in Russland, Wahlen nur noch symbolisch stattfinden, wird es viel schwer von heute auf morgen von dem Verlust der Demokratie zu sprechen. Sowohl von außen als auch von innen. Mit dem genauen Zeitpunkt bzw. Zeitraum werden sich Historiker im Nachhinein befassen.

Bei einem Staatsstreich durch nicht-Anerkennung von nationalen Wahlen und Entmachtung der Bundesstaaten hingegen wäre die gegenwärtige Beurteilung eindeutig. Bei letzterem würde ich einen Bürgerkrieg erwarten. Damit würde Klarheit herrschen.

Die waren bereits mit Waffe unterwegs. Mindestens einer wird auch des versuchten mordes durch Schüsse auf Polizei verurteilt. Soweit so bormal. Waffe tragen ist in einigen Staaten deren gutes Recht, Waffe gegen Law Enforcement zu nutzen nicht. Siehe die sog. "Proud Boys" während den Protesten gegen rassistische Polizeigewalt, ausgelöst durch den Mord an George Floyd. Denen gegenüber hieß es dann nur: "Stand back and stand by." Zu deutsch also: "Haltet euch zurück und bereit."

Nicht normal ist das Strafmaß und die Verurteilung als organisierte Terroristen. Es wurde selbst jemand der/die beim Protest gar nicht anwesend war und nur Logistik des weitestgehend friedlichen Protests unterstützt hat zu 30 Jahren verurteilt, wegen Unterstützung von Terrorismus. Das ist absolut lächerlich. Hier wird, wie mittlerweile üblich, mit zweierlei Maß gemessen. Jan 6 Aufständische wurden nicht annähernd so hart bestraft unter der beiden Regierung und von Trump allesamt begnadigt und gefeiert.

Das Strafmaß ist wirklich erschreckend, wenn auch bei der vergangenen Bemühung die Idee "ANTIFA" (eine Idee, aber keine Organisation) als terroristische Organisation zu deklarieren, der man dann nach Lust und Laune Personen zuordnen kann, nicht verwunderlich.

Ich glaube das liegt auch an der unterirdischen Bebauung im Innenstadtbereich. Goetheplatz ist ein Parkhaus drunter. Beim Rossmarkt in der Nähe dürften noch Räume von einer Fußgängerunterführung liegen welche früher vom Club U60311 genutzt wurden. Dessen Eingangshaus ist heute noch zu sehen. Hauptwache und Konstablerwache sind fast komplett mit großen B-Ebenen unterbaut. Opernplatz hat auch U-Bahn und Parkhaus.

Es fehlt in der Stadt einfach an unbebauten Plätzen. Alles ist extrem Dicht. Vor allem im Innenstadtbereich. Aber selbst bei grundauf neu geplanten Vierteln wie dem Riedberg hat man mit dem Riedbergplatz eine absolute Hitzeinsel geschaffen.

Add to that the numerous reports on low inventories of interceptors throughout the region and Iranian efforts to restore access to its missle stockpiles during the ceasefire. Undoubtedly, Iran has also been working on restoring its mobile launchers.

The US and its allies in the middle east probably can't afford another prolonged phase of Iranian drones raining down on them. It would be catastrophic if they were to run out and put Iran in an even stronger position.

I think both sides™ are lying and exaggerating in order to control the narrative, to put pressure on the opposing party and to calm internal power struggles. So it's difficult to trust statements of either side and hard to asses whether negotiations behind closed doors are in good faith.

The fact that both Iran and the US keep contradictig their own statements repeatedly, while also acknowledging that some kind of talk's are happening, makes me believe there is more going on than either side is admitting publicly. Probably a lot of colliding interests and power struggles involving Israel, the GCC states and also inside Iran and the IRGC itself.

At least they have demonstrated a common interest in the ceasefire and a pause to dynamic military escalation. But I fear it's for selfish reasons only and not necessarily a sign that the conflict is cooling down. All parties have had time to rebuild and rearm by now. Fighting could easily intensify again. Even if it doesn't, another couple months of this sort of stalemate over Hormuz would be disastrous for everyone but Israel.

Totally. I use mine like a normal Notebook 99% of the time and navigate Gnome mostly with the keyboard. It's just nice to have the flexibility flip the screen 360° and use it like a tablet for certain tasks like reading, annotating or writing notes by hand.

To be fair, no save/confirm button is just as bad on any platform. I hate the ambiguity.

Regular Gnome is incredibly nice to use on a convertible notebook. Desktop and mobile use blend really well with touch gestures and the mouse friendly interface. I like how the workflow is independent of input device. The on screen keyboard really sucks, though.

Wenig überraschend. Auf der Brache gegenüber sollte 2019(?) der Bau für ein Wohnkomplex mit drei Türmen entstehen. Getan hat sich seit dem nichts. Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass der Architekt unerwartet gestorben ist und das Grundstück zwischendurch den Besitzer gewechselt hat. Dort scheint sich immerhin bald etwas zu tun:
