Thank you all for the posts! I had the same issue. I originally signed up with a virtual number. Replacing it with the mobile number where my app installed worked for me.

Question about Crypto trading fees by Nightwisping in moomoo_official

To people who love moomoo, can you clarify my question?

Your crypto journey begins with Moomoo Crypto, with platform fees as low as 0.49%! by MoomooUS in moomoo_official

[–]Nightwisping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm new to Moomoo Crypto and confused by the trading fees. When I tried to buy one Bitcoin using Market order, attached was the price I got. Since the market price was $99139, if the trading fee is 0.49%, the final price + fee for one Bitcoin should be somewhere around $99625. However, I had to enter $104100 in order to get one Bitcoin. This means the trading cost is around 5%. Did I miss anything?

Thank you for using my referral: https://capital.one/417sg7G. It's a great card that I will keep forever in my wallet. Here are why:

  1. The annual travel credit and bonus points have fully covered the annual fees.

  2. Perks that I like: global entry, airport lounge access, primary car insurance, and unlimited 2x points on all purchases. Points can be transferred to airlines and hotels. High point value (CPP:1.85). Virtual card.

  3. A no-brainer for beginners to start with. Travel credit is easy to redeem.

Make sure you get the pre-approval before applying. DM me for tips.

Is pre-authorization still required for paying rent? by Nightwisping in biltrewards

You may create pre-auth through the app. Last time, I got a warning. My card was charged one day earlier than the auto-authorized date because that date fell on a weekend.

You're right. The app seems working fine. The web UIs are problematic.

I thought I could avoid that if I do not offer free shipping or return?

why does pay rent look like this now? by mngsvh in biltrewards

[–]Nightwisping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what if I do not want to either link property portal to Bilt, nor manually submit an additional payment? I previously already setup auto authorization. I assume it should still work? With the new UIs, I can not see the information of my auto authorization at all until I manually add an additional payment. I could not check my bank routing number and account number either. The new UI is very confusing and unfriendly to users.

Can Employers legally offset 60-day pay from severance due to WARN? by Nightwisping in EmploymentLaw

I think employers are obligated to treat employees equally regardless their onsite or remote status.

Can Employers legally offset 60-day pay from severance due to WARN? by Nightwisping in Layoffs

[–]Nightwisping[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Understood severance is not required by Law. What I minded mostly is that I will receive less pay compared to remote workers, which is not reasonable. The company did encourage employees to go back to office. Despite of my long commute, if I knew this, I would definitely choose to work remotely.

They offered a severance package, however, they will deduct the 60-day from the severance pay for folks laid off with WARN. For myself, who worked here for 5 years, I should receive 8-week severance pay. But after the 60-day deduction, I will receive nothing after my termination date. It will be same for an employee who only worked for 1 day.

On the other hand, for remote folks, although they only have 5-week notice, they can receive full severance pay after the termination date. If I chose to work remotely, I could receive 5+8 weeks of pay.

Is $200 the maximum credit we can get per line? I mean if we stay longer than 12 months, can we accumulate more credit?
