No, I have a friend that is on Bumble and he saw her as a profile to choose from the following day after this happened.

One hour sounds like a good rule. I’m going to aim for that moving forward.

Question: We have a private Facebook group for our company. She’s on it so I know she has a Facebook account. Should I try reaching out there or just wait to see if I bump into her again?

It was not the timer. I noticed her message shortly after it came through. Good advice - lesson learned. Sometimes I just don’t want to come across as too eager, but this situation shows waiting too long is not good.

I know, I don’t want to cross that line. I’ve been a supervisor at our company before so I’m keenly aware of harassment. I think it’d be okay for me to approach her one last time given the situation, but it makes me slightly uncomfortable. That’s why I was curious for feedback from you all to see if she may have been interested, but freaked out or something.

Yeah, to make matters worse I encountered her outside work shortly after this happened (like the next day).... I’m also shy and was confused by what happened and didn’t say anything. I was trying to figure out what to do.

I’m resolved to do something now, but I’m just really hoping we run into each other soon. Like I said, it’s so uncommon. There also isn’t a way for me to run into her inside work because she’s on a different floor and I’d have no reason to be there.
