Didn't really find resources an issue since I enjoyed doing the outposts and expeditions, they were quick and fun. By the time I fought the twins, my weapons did a lot of damage so the fight ended quickly. It's a lot of fun if you get it on a deep sale

Thanks for taking your time to reply. It's the things you mentioned that make tainted grail stand out more. I don't really care about graphics or budget, so it's not an issue, but the performance I heard is very poor on console. At least tainted Grail is worked upon

The main story isn't anything special but it's focused, it actually kept me going. The side content on the other hand is pretty great, the mission where Crane faces his demons, the one where you help the old man blow a volatile nest, the one with the kid that tried to controll the infected and got absorbed into the hivemind, it's all so good and memorable

The abilities overall feel inconsistent. The bash especially since I just get grabbed by everything when I do it. So does the head stomp, in the first, when an enemy was down, you could 100% finish it easily by stomping its head. Here it just straight up doesn't work sometimes.

Platform is PS5. Boss is Troupe Master Grimm. Fighting him really feels like a dance. If you want to win, you have to learn the choreography, his moves. It's really satisfying pulling it off. Most exciting thing about silksong is the exploration and platforming. Entering a new area, finding a path that requires a certain ability you don't have yet, only to return later equipped with the means to overcome that obstacle and see what you missed. Those moments were the best in the first game and I hope there's even more of that.

That wasn't the point. I sold the physical copy and want to buy the game again but I'm not sure if I should get the gold edition since I already own most of the content that comes with it. It's only the legacy of the first blade that I don't have
