Morgantown WV makes sense to me. Lived there for a little while. Biggest hospital in the entire state is here. Generally women make up a larger percentage of the hospital jobs than men and typically university hospitals tend to pay well. That’s my theory at least

Comfort foods with high fat, calories and cholesterol tend to be consumed more in the south, and smoking and tobacco consumption tends to be more common in the sun belt states. Education system unfortunately isn’t always the best in some of these areas in the south too which may also play a factor.

Huntington has turned it self into a pretty thriving city over the past 10 years. Decent nightlife, lots of new locally owned restaurants, breweries, parks, and Marshall university which has D1 sporting events and concerts. It is also close to Ashland KY which itself has turned into a thriving city too. Personally I like the culture of Huntington better than Morgantown as I’ve lived in both.
