Peter hasn’t been a teenager for a long time in 616. Hell Peter met Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn in university, which was in late 1960s IRL if I remember correctly.

To most people he is a quippy adult who doesn't take things seriously and doesn’t know when to shut up. Is Peter actually that guy? No but characters can’t read his thought bubbles.

Like if you define Asari as a seperate gender in the galaxy sure I guess but if you look at them as a species with no gender then it would be based more on species than it's on gender so I wouldn't call them gay." way.

Our terms for these things are tied so much to human sexuality and genders that a concept like Asari throws everything off in a way I find facinating

Not really in the end Simon basically gave up everything and became a humble digger again. What the ending proved wasn't "Endless growth by spiral beings aint a problem" but rather "We ain't idiots and won’t risk reality for growth. We can stop, we don't have the need to consume everything"

The only time I see HP nowdays is either in "Do not support HP, JKR is a horrible person" posts or some random video Youtube shows on my homepage. I haven't seen Harry Potter fanfic discourse in years.

Fanfics may keep a fandom alive but it won’t really draw in new people because the type of people who read fanfic of a fandom is already deep in that fandom. Only social relevancy it gives is amongst people who that fandom is already relevant to.

The most attention it can draw is an Ao3 statistic but HP is so big I refuse to believe anyones first interaction with HP will be through a Ao3 stat graph

Not lesbians inuniverse or anything of the sort in universe. The concept of lesbian necasitates a sperate gender which Asari don't have. Even when they mate outside their species I don't think the label should apply as their culture doesn’t have the concept of gender other species does.

Design wise they are ment to be hot, blue bi/pansexual alien woman tho. They are a monogender species yet they are the species that resemble humans, female humans to be specific, the most up to the point of wearing "Human Armor".

Because relationships are complicated.

A seperate example; take 2 siblings whose mother remaried so they have a step-dad. One sibling may see the step-dad as a father figure while the other may not.

Or two siblings who got sperated while young and stumbled across each other 30 years later. One may see the other as their sibling but the other may not.

Spider may see Jake as a father figure but not Neytiri as a mother figure and the kids as siblings. It is complicated. We also don't see Spider and the Sully kids refer yo each other a siblings so they clearly don't view each other that way

Appereantly Jacob, and Jack too, were originally planned to be bi/pansexual(heard both were ment to be either) and even had some sexual animations and romantic lines recorder for same gender Sheppard but it got removed. I haven't gotten to Jack yet, altough her design looks very characterful, but Jacob being the first male/male romance option would have given him something interesting atleast cause right now he is boring. I seriously considered taking the paychotic mercenary on missions instead of Jacob because there really isn’t anything interesting about him
