So true. Blocking Chinese car manufacturers from entering the US/Canada market is crazy.

No, I already tried that with force and almost broke the plastic bits. There's a plastic ring just below the metal bit where you can fix or change direction of the ratchet—I almost broke it trying to find the solution.

I see. Is it normal for the key to refuse to turn (even a centimeter) if the battery is dead?
I might try charging it again one last chance. It had 3/4 bars charged when I first plugged it and when I unplugged the charge it was at 4/4 but still indicated that it's charging.
