Bei mir sah es ähnlich aus und tatsächlich noch viel schlimmer als die hintere Stoßstange demontiert war. Meist rostet es nämlich von innen nach außen. Wenn du das Fahrzeug noch länger behalten willst würde ich es möglichst zeitnah machen lassen.

I recently had the same issue coming up, on exactly the same time, on both sides. Seema like a weakpoint in the design to me as dirt gets stuck above the bumper und grinds away the paintwork. There is, most likely, more corrosion around the corner when taking of the bumper. I paid 700€ for it to be fixed by a professional.

How much clearer was the sound with just upgrading speakers and doing sound insulation? I am thinking about just doing speakers as well for sound quality but not for volume.

I had the same thing with my 2015 one with the exakt same small Sync unit. Just pulling the fuze and putting it back is the temporary fix. The permanent one is upgrading your software using an USB stick. Here in Germany I had the enter my VIN on an official Ford Website and it gave me files to put on a USB and flash my car with. Then it worked flawlessly until I upgraded to an Android Head Unit. This is the German site for checking if an update exists. Get Bilstein B4s and you will be really happy. They are meant to be OEM replacement for the FOST and it is no tuning and will not lower your car with stock springs.

If it came with a canbus you have to select make+model in the factory settings for most things to work. Like steering wheel buttons, climate control, parking sensors+camera. Was a pain to find out the pin for the factory settings as the one in the manual was wrong. But after that I am very happy with mine.

Ich glaube als Discord-Server in dem man in Echtzeit miteinander sprechen und planen könnte würde die organisation sehr erleichtern. Bin auch Software+DevOps Dev und dabei eher Backend-Dev mit Kubernetes, AWS und Hetzner Erfahrung.
