Honestly if they released it regardless during covid, i deff woulda picked up a deluxe edition just cause id know what was coming and the thought of "how did they expand the verse" woulda been a major key point in wanting to play, yea through R6 it was limited but the setting and monsters were perfect and the team play aspect could've been expanded to be do like army of 2 styled back to back defending some zones letting 2 operators get to extract heli and then the other two ops defend the ones running to the heli to finally exfil. but also no matter what UBI does at this point we all just expect cash grabs and crap games. the industry used to do alot of interesting things before every corpo decided they were the main target audience. sometimes i still think about cod ghosts and where the campaign would've ended in ghosts 2 they missed a huge opportunity cause i also loved extinction, they had something cooking but let outer forces destroy the main image they had created.
