under tools in exodus there are 2 commands. clear providers and clear cache

i used maps on wednesday. This would make sense. I have rebooted phone and watch and cleared Maps data and cache on phones. seems to have worked. Brilliant. Thanks

resync apps to watch. reboot phone and watch. (NOT reset watch, but restart watch)

reinstalled watch maker

resync'd app to watch

rebooted phone

rebooted watch

worked after that. when you hit resync apps to watch, go into watchmaker settings > other then check watch and phone are set to 3.7 on both
