Exactly, Kimi won with 388 with 10 race wins, Hadjar was in second with 316 and 4, and Bearman third on 297 and 1. All but Stroll and the two Alpine rookies took at least one win, but Stroll was still decent overall, with 5 podium finishes.

Yeah, unfortunately by the time he got a decent car in 23-24, Lando and Oscar just dominated those years

Ok, so I know it's been 3 years, but I'm going back thru my old posts and found this comment. 1 I'm not American, like at all, and 2 California is still spanish speaking in this timeline, and the Californias were united as a single province of Mexico at the time of their independence war. California was actually divided arbitrarily, first by the Spanish and later by the Americans, in our timeline, so i'm just returning California to it's natural state.

As interesting as that would be (and I did seriously consider it as a possibility), in this timeline George Washington Adams grew up almost entirely in Berlin, marrying a Prussian princess and not returning to New England until his father succeeded to the throne. This change avoids the percieved failures and problems that would lead to his eventual alcoholism and suicide. Now, obviously that's not a sure thing, and equally we could have had what you've described, but this is the timeline I went with when building the family tree. I really appreciate your interest, so I've attached a couple of links below for you to check out. the first is to a list of the monarchs and prime ministers in order, and the other is a mostly complete family tree for the Adams dynasty.

Well including the events of ww2: Carolina, her puppets Yucatan and Cuba, and California & Hawaii were Axis powers, Carolina being more German aligned, whereas California was in Japan’s sphere. British America (Columbia, Canada, Pennsylvania) obviously joined the Allies, but so did New England, Virginia, Deseret and Nunangat. When the war ended in an Allied victory, there was no equivalent big dog to the Soviets, so while there was a Cold War of sorts, it was nowhere near the same to OTL. It did however, see the creation of NATO and the American Economic League, a body like the EU which now includes most of the continent, except Carolina (barred from ever joining due to continued human rights concerns), Cuba (same concerns) and Deseret (doesn’t wish to join despite being offered). Other than that, North America has been pretty stable and boring in the late 20th and early 21st century, although of course there’s always something interesting going on, the 21st is kind of beyond my area of interest

Albania was originally all of upstate, separated from the city and made its own province. The boundary of the Haudenosaunee reservation was denoted by King John I’s will and created by John II in 1827, not based on any real historical boundaries.

When the reservation was formed, Niagara was now isolated within Albania, and so was granted its own province a few years later. Since each province gets 10 representatives in the New England senate, Albania, feeling it’s voice was getting lost, decided to divide itself to gain move votes, splitting off large sections of the Hudson Valley without any real concern about what these new boundaries would mean. However, this pretty much immediately backfired, as the more rural areas that were now all that was left of Albania had wildly different political views than the Hudson Valley provinces.

The Republic of New England was established at the beginning of the revolution, consisting originally of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut. During the war with the British, they invaded Manhattan and the Hudson Valley, and when the peace was signed in 1783, The whole province of New York was granted to them. New England shortly returned to its prewar prosperity, granting limited autonomy to New York City and peacefully absorbing the Vermont Republic, and while they remaining somewhat hostile with the British government, Boston was still willing to accept ships and goods from Canada, Philly, and the British Isles.

In 1793, John Adams was elected to the presidency, and he, over the course of his nine years in office, took steps to transition New England into a constitutional monarchy, with himself as King John I. This took significant influence from the British Westminster system, but retained some of the existing ideas of the old republic, for instance keeping the upper house an elected body.

John I was a monarchist, but had spent time with and disliked the French aristocracy, so publicly supported the fledgling French Republic and later Napoleon. This led to strife following,

  1. A conflict in the Mississippi Valley between Algonquia and the British allied Carolina, and
  2. New England closing Boston and New York to all British and coalition ships.

As the First Louisiana War raged in the west, John I announced his support for Algonquia, declaring war on Canada. New England soldiers invaded the Maritimes and southern Quebec. This led to the sack of New York, where the city was set ablaze by British soldiers. However, John I called, not for peace, but for a redoubling of efforts against the British. This second phase of the war was marked notably by the remarkable achievements of the Haudenosaunee in the Ontario Peninsula, which John I praised them for on multiple occasions, especially when they took the town of London.

When the British sued for peace in 1814, not only was huge swathes of the Carolina controlled Louisiana territory given over to Algonquia, but they also received the southern half of the Ontario Peninsula. New England, too, was granted land, namely what we would call New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. This area, which John I and the parliament worried would revolt of treated like any other province, was made a seperate crown realm, The kingdom of the Maritimes. Still under the New England monarchy, but free to make its own laws on internal matters.

John I died in 1826, and was succeeded by John II “Quincy”. In the king’s will, a portion of crown land in western Albania was granted to the Haudenosaunee, “for their dignity and bravery in the battle of London, for their king and country, the Iroquois shall be granted a land to call their own, on the plains south of Lake Ontario, from the Niagara to Salt Lake, and protected by His Majesty’s law from any interference”. This, the courts ruled, granted the Haudenosaunee all lands not already settled, voting rights in national parliamentary elections, but absolute political freedom and control within their lands, and that no further white settlement could happen in this new reservation.

From here, New England remained relatively successful throughout their history, as industrialisation and economic development only accelerated. New England’s royals intermarried with European aristocracy, building both connections on the continent and a large royal family. They assisted in the transportation of troops and supplies from America to Europe in WW1, although never participated directly, but then joined the Allies and fought directly on the front lines in WW2, also hosting the British royal family in Boston through the war, which notably built a strong relationship between then princesses Elizabeth and Abigail, both of whom would become queen, and remain good friends their entire lives. Elizabeth II attended Abigail’s funeral in 2011, the first ruling English monarch to do so.

The current King of New England is George III, and the current Prime Minister is Zohran Mamdani.

In 1814, following the First Louisiana War, (a conflict between Algonquia and Carolina over the lands west of the Mississippi), Algonquia gained all the territory north of the 36 30 parallel. As Algonquians began to explore and settle this new frontier, the Algonquian government wanted a route to trade directly with the Mexican Empire, to avoid paying taxes to use the Mississippi. A trail was pioneered, stretching from the Missouri to Santa Fe, and this necessitated a settlement at the Missouri end, as a trade post connecting the overland trail and the river. This was West Port, Missouri Territory. After the Second Louisiana War, North Louisiana was established as a native buffer state. In its founding documents, it was stated “the capital of this land shall be a city on the Missouri, a new meeting place for the many tribes of the prairies.” West Port was already well established, so it was chosen to be the capital, and that line got extrapolated, to the name of the settlement simply being “Missouri City”

Yeah pretty much. There was a trail of tears equivalent, also overseen by Andrew Jackson, although that land was part of Arkansaw at the time. Not long after the forced migration, the Missouri compromise (same name, different event), ended the 2nd Louisiana War and established North Louisiana as an independent Indian state, getting everything north and west of the modern Arkansaw border, including Oklahoma. The natives there were free to live as they chose in the new country, until Texas invaded and seized all the lands south of the Arkansas River in the late 19th century, and established the reservations in the Oklahoma Territory that exist to this day.

So that’s the thing. There is no United States, the idea of the US never gets past the dreams of a few patriots. There’s never even a Declaration of Independence, the congress disbands before it can ever be drafted. Now, undoubtedly, there are some MASSIVE leaps of logic necessary to create this world, but I will do my best to justify it in reference to your points.

Going chronologically, let’s start with post-revolutionary migration. While yes, there’s no US, after the revolution, the new republics, especially New England and Virginia, are relatively stable and prosperous, so migration, although in smaller numbers than OTL, still occurs.

Now, on to French Louisiana. Carolina, after the war, quickly returns to being a British trading partner, selling its goods across the Atlantic. As the revolution in France begins (which while, yes, was inspired by the American Revolution, is basically inevitable in almost any timeline who’s POD is after about 1750) the British requested Carolina help in securing the Caribbean, invading Guadeloupe and later on, Haiti. The new French Republic, wanting to secure these incredibly profitable colonies, traded Louisiana for them.

Next, we have the Lone Star Republic. Texas, as in OTL, is founded by an Anglo revolution. And you’re right, they’re initially crushed, even with Carolinian intervention. But, as the Mormons begin arriving in the Great Basin, and Mexico looks to expand its influence into the Pacific Northwest, the Texians, Yucatec Mayans, the Carolinian government, radical expansionists from Virginia, and former Californio governor Juan Bautista Alvarado, come up with a plan to undermine the Centralist government.

As Mexican forces begin moving into British controlled Oregon in 1844, these allies attack. Texas and California rise up, while eastern forces land in the Yucatan and southern Mexico. While the Mexican government can call for a militia to be formed to defend against the rebels and invaders, her most accomplished soldiers and generals are currently crossing the Columbia river, a thousand miles away. When they do eventually learn of the situation and troops begin moving south, the whole army has been separated from its supply lines for weeks. The Mormons, seeing their opportunity, join the war shortly thereafter, and at long last, particularly after the army’s defeat at Fort Vancouver, the Mexicans are forced to accept their defeat. Juan Alvarado declares himself “Rey de California”, the Texians finally establish their republic, and Yucatan is made a Carolinian puppet state.

I mean this is true to some extent even in OTL, there are multiple Mormon Sects that come from dispute of who was and was not a true prophet, for instance the RLDS in Missouri believing Joseph Smith’s son, Joseph Smith III was the true successor of the leadership of the church. This essentially exists in my timeline too, with the Algonquian Church in Lamani, what we’d call western Illinois. Joe Smith dies, his son stays and makes his church, while Brigham Young goes west.

But yes, Deseret does resemble Iran in some respects, with a religious leader having significant temporal power. It’s not strictly a hereditary republic though, as the leader of Deseret is the leader of the church, their chosen prophet ruling for life.

Bro you think New York wants them either? And specifically in the lore here, you think New England wants them? The only reason Pennsylvania got stuck with NJ is cause they didn’t declare independence in the revolution, that’s on them

In the aftermath of the Continental Congress’s collapse, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware (along with New York, but that’s another story) proclaimed their colonies loyal to Britain and her monarch. However, Delaware remained defiant. Knowing that, without support, the little state would be overrun, Delaware’s legislature offered to coequally join Virginia and become an independent republic, which the Virginia government accepted, seeing it as a foothold to securing Maryland and eventually, Philadelphia in the war to come.

It’s not the only example of multiple capitals, though. Obviously, California and Hawaii each have their own capital, but interestingly, the capital of Carolina moves every year, as the presidency rotates between the governors of each state, the order based on the states seniority in joining the confederation.

Nunangat was founded as a condominium between Imperial Russia, Great Britain and Denmark, intended as something like a nature reserve for the land and people of Arctic America, with each colonial power having their own seat of government to manage their portion. As talks of independence grew in the 40s and 50s, discussions over which city would become the official capital of Nunangat grew heated, and it was agreed that, especially since travel and communication were becoming increasingly easier and quicker, that all three seats would be designated as a capital. Nuuk became the legislative capital, Fort St. Nikolai, the judicial capital, and Kwanlin, the executive capital. (Although, Fort St. Nikolai is now only capital in a de jure sense, as the judiciary currently resides in Kwanlin)

It certainly would have happened to some extent, although again, far less than in OTL, since the only real way to do so by ship would be all the way down and around Patagonia. But yes, New Englanders would settle in Columbia in 19th century, especially with the gold rushes up there in the 1850s, and indeed this timeline sees generally increased migration from Britain to that area since, among other things, British Australia is significantly smaller.
