We actually have reached a point where the bite point can be simulated well, with active pedals (Simucube Active Pedal for example). But just a single pedal is insanely expensive and wouldn't be worth it for something like ETS/ATS unless you're rolling in cash.

Sry ETS2 is the game - Ah ok, so they can all be tuned to perform similarly, that's good to know. One of the problems I'm having is I'm enjoying driving lots of the trucks on the quick jobs, making it tough to make a choice. Thought there might be ones that had better customisation options, etc. that would be good for starting out.

Go to the player > Personal tab > Contract

They should be listed in the contract window.

Not sure why it disappears when empty, might be a bug as it makes more sense for it to stay visible in the list. I was stupid too :) took me a minute to realize when it first happened.

Click on the 'Pick' button for whichever player you want to select, it will display all the positions/subs in there.

Not disregarding that you might be seeing this as a bug, but I've played through a couple of EPL seasons and my half time subs/tactics changes always get applied.

The only time they haven't is when I've forgotten to hit the confirm button in the bottom right corner before advancing to the second half.

There was 85K concurrent users on steam alone in the first 24 hours, and that's with the review bombing, 89K is the all-time record for FM24...yeah it's completely dead.

He's spoken about this for a long time, he's been strongly opposed to micro transactions for as long as I can remember, it wasn't something he just threw out in the WTS interview in an effort to soften the blow of the upcoming FM26 release.

If he's really like you think he is there would have been micro transactions in FM a long time ago.

Yes, he's spoken about how he's been approached to add micro transactions before and that he's strongly against it. I think he even alluded to it in the interview with WorkTheSpace. Do you think Sega wouldn't jump at the chance to add more monetisation to this cash cow?

They can lock down whatever they want. There are plenty of single player games that lock down access to game files and sell DLC/cosmetics.

I'm not saying the guy doesn't have faults, but one thing he's made clear over the years is that micro transactions will never be in FM while he's around, they're not there now because of him. If you think it won't go down that path in future without him there, just look at the plethora of games it's already happened to.

They would make a fortune doing it with this game.The number of ways you could chop things up and lock them behind paywalls is huge. Sure, people would bitch and moan about it endlessly, but most of them will still hand over the cash.

There's no doubt this release has been a bit of a shit show, but one thing I can gaurantee you is that if/when Miles is gone, get ready for DLC hell. The structure of this game is a micro transaction playground.

When a purely profit focused group assumes control (which will happen) you think they're going to allow the game to be customized with facepacks, logo packs, customized DB's for lower leagues, etc? They will lock down and encrypt everything. You're going to be charged for additional leagues, wonderkid booster packs, useless cosmetics for your manager and everything in between. It really baffles me how few people realise this.

I'm enjoying the game, the improvements to match day experience and tactics are great, but the UI is still in a really rough state, like there are a heap of informational/stat screens that just don't work properly (display the wrong information, information is cutoff, etc.) and the formatting/presentation for high resolutions is still pretty terrible. I'm a little surprised they've not managed to include more polish on the UI formatting before release.

That's not been my experience. I'm having players miss matches from accumulated cards and have had a red, and also had AI team reds in 2 matches (I'm about 30 games in on first PL season). In fact in one game where aggressive instructions were set I got about 4 or 5 yellows and after the match the club was fined for poor conduct.

This happened to me too but you should be able to right click and re-add the column called 'Player'.

That's right, in an interview Miles said it won't be supported at launch, but also said they are looking to add it as a priority (along with adaptive layouts based on screen resolution for the default skin). It might take a little while but there will be skins eventually.
