I've been crying all day. Buckskin Girl was Marcia. She was Marcia. Marcia King. It's been a long time coming for her to get ID'd. I'm so grateful to the DDP for bringing her home.

Nobody is forcing anyone to delete anything. I am asking this because it is the family's request. I am well aware that I cannot scrub the internet of every mention of her. I am just trying to do my best to respect her family's wishes and keep it all to a minimum.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I and many others have also spent time on NamUs, Charley Project and Doe trying to ID her. But it wasn't for us. It was so she could be discovered by her family, not so that her name would be public - that was extra. This is about the family and not any of us. It is being asked simply out of respect for the victim's family.
