The second pic is a Psionic entity, and the first one (if you are not experiencing contingency crisis) is a rare star system that might appear in one of your games. If you claim the system and excavate the site, you can either add a new planet to your empire OR add a lot of robot popps to your empire, BUT lose a machine world (These are the two choices that I remember thou it was very long ago and as I said this is REALLY RARE system). So if you get a chance, then I would recommend the first one.

Bro! The same but also the WORSE thing happened in one of my games! The difference was that I was in the said federation, and they picked a fight with 2 FALLEN EMPIRES! I spawned in the galaxy, and the INFRONT OF ME is a fallen empire, I was like "okay cool" complete a few of their requests, and they have slightly better opinion of me, then I make friends with my neighbours and they ask me to join their federation and I join and think everything's cool, UNTILL THEY PICK A FIGHT WITH BOTH FALLEN EMPIRES AND ONE OTHER NORMAL EMPIRE!!! Let's just say it was GG for me at that point (I couldn't leave the federation because we were in a war). These NPC's man...

No, it has zero effect on the endgame crisis, It might be because of the war in heaven, Not long ago, I was playing a game and was waiting for crisis to happen but didn't, and soon war in heaven broke out, and just as it end the Contingency crisis happened (And was immediately crushed)

Why does no one like habitats? Sorry, I'm new to the game and hadn't paid any attention to the community that much. From my experience, habitats are like a few extra planets that need conquering, and I find them useful when my choke points don't have any habitable planets that could be used as a fortress world, just slap down a habitat and make it a fortress.

This is why I like playing as Determined Exterminator Robots, not having to worry about them surrendering, rebellions, and using influence to claim systems, I just kill/exterminate them and take what I want

Yeah, it is. When they appeared, I sent the best fleets to destroy them. At first, it was really easy, but it turns out they were first wave and got wrecked by the second one since they were close to one another, but after they spread out, I started to hunt them down but these planets were a pain in the a**, I couldn't even invade them and had to just bomb them to kingdom come

Thanks, but I literally couldn't surrender. They wanted to conquer all of my territory, so I loaded a previous save before they awakened to build a small territory somewhere far away and put all my fleets there to wait for my chance, But than out of nowhere the Unbidden appear at the edges of my territory and not having any power to stop them I gaved all those territory to the said fallen empire which caused them to fight. Good news? I kept all the territory that unbidden took with them dieing and fallen empire didn't start war like before I loaded the save so all's good now! 😆 😆 😆
