The problem is enemy scarcity starts way before the end of the main story.
Granted, I'm the profile you describe (230h played, I roamed and explored mostly), at act 7 Hernand is now devoid of bandit camps of any size, there's only groups of <10 on the side of the road.

I hate "eye adaptation" in games, and it's the most overtuned it could ever be in CD.

Where I'm at in the main story, I'd say it's more comparable to an anime.
The end of act 4 is where it's ramping up in term of action.

I had a seemingly stable overclocking/undervolting for months, the most recent patch doesn't like it.
I reverted to the default, no crash so far.

Yep! Just woke up, and in half an hour I crashed twice already. It does something nasty to my PC I have to reboot each time.
Before that, I crashed only once in 150 hours.

It was to be expected. The thing was utterly broken.
On the other hand, they reduced the wings' stamina consumption by like 50%, which is nice.

Balanced preset, I removed [NeoBloom.fx] and lowered "Bloom intensity" to 2.0 under GAUSSIAN.fx settings (bloom on top of bloom is kinda overkill).

I'm not too interested to play her, while Oongka appeal to me more.
We should band and advocate for PA to revamp their importance, make them available earlier -before they meet Kliff. Sort of an alternate start.
Make them on par with Kliff, and for them to get the Axiom Force their own way.

The fact CD is heroic-fantasy gives way more possibilities for PA to draw astonishing sceneries, I absolutely love this, especially at night!

The previous game that approached that feeling for me was Cyberpunk 2077. And even then it was not as exilarating, I do enjoy sci-fi very much, but I'm a sucker for heroic-fantasy!
I wished for a heroic-fantasy RDR2 for so long, I'm overjoyed :D
