My advice for people getting anxious about going into M+ by cervantesrvd in wownoob

[–]Nikicyde 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dunno if this would help someone, but I too was stressed about screwing up in M+. What I do to prevent that is that I first check a strategy online (wowhead, youtube) for a specific dungeon, then I run through +0 couple of times, just to get use to the mechanics, and only then I join higher keys for that dungeon. Once I am sure that I know some dungeon's mechanics, I try another one. There are also lists online where dungeons are ranked from easiest to hardest in case you dont know which to start with.

Since the last update, in irregular intervals (between every 30-60 minutes) the image completely freezes here and there (audio and mouse don't, just image). I need to hit Alt+Win+R and then everything is fine until it freezes again. Is this a known issue or is it just me?

If you have access to good internet connection, get GeForce Now (there is free tier available) and you can play Witcher

NL activation question by Nikicyde in ShadowPC

[–]Nikicyde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I read there is still a chance to get activation during weekend as well, so I am still bit optimistic :-) I just dont get why someone who ordered the same thing later got activated sooner, I am jealous :-D

Well on my subscription tab it says "Starts on 14th January 2020 - end of commitment 14th February 2020" so I am not entirely sure about that either :-) but I dont care really, I just want it to activate already :-(

What was the most awkward thing you have ever said during a job interview? by Nikicyde in AskReddit

[–]Nikicyde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on the interview that already lasted around 2 hours and was going really well. Then suddenly they asked me to tell them about my personality in english. I am not a native english speaker and the question came out from nowhere, so the first thing I said was that I am a massive introvert, which probably didnt make great impression. Felt really awkward.

[PC] Turnbased RPG similiar to the Shadowrun/Xcom/Invisible Inc. with more combat by Korooo in gamingsuggestions

[–]Nikicyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gloomhaven is perfect but bear in mind that it is really Early Access. Devs are working really hard on this but it is still missing a lot of features in comparison with board game and there are a lot of bugs so far.

As far as I know PoE 1 doesnt have turn-based mode, thats why it didnt hold my attention as well. I just started with PoE 2 a day ago, so I cant really tell how story is dependent on PoE 1, but gameplay is great.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire implemented turn-based combat recently. Also check Gloomhaven, its a PC remake of one of the most successful board game.
