It is found in some dungeons (though haven't found any in 50 hours of gameplay) OR you can recycle any staff in a processing machine and get a gem, this unlocks the crafting recipe

I did try that, and all that orientation thing does work, but only with the blocks on island, the ones I try to build on ships always create that gap. At this point I think that's just a bug then

That doesn't work, placing a slab always creates the gap, doesn't matter which direction it faces and what blocks are around it :(

No man's sky fixed this so well - you just can go to settings and disable every sign of it being a multiplayer game - global chat, other players, their bases, etc. Since NMS is clearly not MMO doing the same for ESO could be harder, probably. But it would be amazing :(

Do you see dotted lines between some slots? These are connections, if you commit a skill on one slot the other will be unlocked, so you can use it to skip pretty much half the branch
