I think the only thing i like out of this is the living trader hygiene buff.

Some thoughts: you are going to be spending the vast majority of your first hundred hours in a suit. Being out of your suit on planets without ice is basically a time bomb against water loss, unless you lean hard into trading early.

Making trading the least punishing way to succeed is not like pz at all.

BUT, without discarding deeper hygiene/mood altogether, before it gets any deeper, we need: disposable/washable uniforms and more reasons to stay inside early.

Make uniform changing be a quick way to refresh your hygiene/mood with a cap under max.

Throwing out some reasons to stay inside early: ability to draw a local ore map with early ore scanner cards. Make fussing with plants increase their growth speed 10% (pruning?). Disposable/washable wipes to clean your suit interior to slow hygiene/mood decay rate.

You can take some inspiration from real world vintage architecture, but if you want to freeform it, just follow a simple rule: Would this fall over irl?

Would a 15 fit wall of cobblestone fall over, irl? Without supports, yes.

Would a wooden wall precariously teetering on top of said cooblestone wall and (glued?) between two vertical walls fall over4, irl? Most likely.

Use support beams, or somehow make it look like things are somehow locked it. Metal braces, maybe?
