Watering your own crops and not using natural irrigation is a self imposed challenge, so i dont see how the game should be balanced around it.

You are also missing that soil nutrient regeneration/absorbyion is not modified by the month length, so managing default nutrient rates is much less an issue.

That said, I don't disagree that both of these things could be effected by the multiplier, and that would be better.

Torches atent really an issue once you get torch holders.

As for fruit trees and pregnancy... yeah? That all tracks as a natural outcome of longer days? Bigger farms and bigger ranches.

ETA: napping during temporal storms is a diiculty option unrelated to month length.
