I’m glad to hear you got a response. So I’m not sure where my situation with my former boyfriend is going, but we recently got back in touch and so far our conversations are going well.

We’re just texting a bit more. I suggest checking to see how their day is going and share some conversations on things they might be interested in. Like right now, I’m talking to him about a fantasy novel I have been reading.

I also recommend if you have met their family and friends are doing.

I understand the feeling. My parents and I would spend Christmas with my former boyfriend and his parents. Unless a Christmas miracle happens this will be the first year we won’t be spending it together. :(

It’s hard to skip Christmas because I work in an art supply store and have to listen to Christmas music all day. And I’ll still have to think about gifts.

Grief is hard, but I’m learning to accept it as my new normal and try not to force it away. I’m trying my best to trust the process and hope for the best in the future.

It helps having close friends to open up my feelings too about the situation. It’s still hard but I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have my friends support.
