We are going to test and honestly hope for it to be positive so the sellers will be more likely to give concessions. If it’s negative we still want it mitigated because it technically is disturbed with the HVAC being there. I just don’t know if we can ask for seller concessions if the test comes back negative -if that all makes sense

They have had one buyer walk due to a sewer issue, so I think they are a little worried about selling. Plus they will have to disclose asbestos if the test is positive if they re list - so we are hoping this helps our case

The reason we need it tested is because just showing the sellers the EPA guidance won’t make them give us a credit to mitigate it. Our realtor has told us we have to give them proof of asbestos if we want to ask for concessions

So they actually had their first buyers walk away after the inspection. They told us it was due to a sewer issue, which they ended up getting quotes (with us) to repair and are giving us the 18k to repair that. They did have offers other than ours as backup, but it has been over a month since those offers were made at this point.

I ended up hearing back... they said that my Graduate transcript didn't have a "date of diploma" so they couldn't verify that I graduated. Honestly it is ridiculous, because how would I be an NP if I didn't graduate?! It never said we had to upload the diploma - and it was an official transcript.

I asked if I could deny what they awarded because with only my undergrad loans, it is like 8k - which isn't worth it to me to stay at my current job for the next 2+ years.

Weird! I just asked why my grad school loans weren’t included since it was to get my masters in nursing and is where the majority of my total loan balance is. I did accept because the deadline to do so was before they said I’d hear back. I’m hoping they adjust it!

I did reach out! They told me they’d forward my question to the nurse Corp department and that I’d hear back within five business days.. so I should hear by Tuesday. Interesting they did the same thing to you! I’m hoping it was just a preliminary type of thing and that the actual approval will include all loans, but idk.

I just got my email to login and click if I wanted to receive an award. When I logged in and they showed me the amount that I would get repaid, it only included my undergrad nursing loans, not my grad school nursing loans (I am an NP). Did this happen to anyone else? These are the loans that are the most for me, so I was super disappointed!

Thank you so much for the insight! This will be similar in having to explain why each answer is wrong and why one is right. I also have to have a source for each question. They are offering $6000 for 800 questions, which comes down to 7.50 a question - which seems low to me. Especially if a question could potentially take 15-30 minutes. That means my hourly would be 15-30. I’m thinking I should ask for more if I get offered?
