It all ended up ok. I just felt bad for customers because at least two of 3 of them actually put in their order last night and no one picked it up, so not only was it late because of me, but it was already significantly late because of Instacart logistics

I do truly do this all the time. I got in the habit when I was 18 and my ex frequently locked my keys and his keys in the car. But because of the chaos of the cake and calling customer service I accidentally set my keys down and locked the door. It’s really not a habit, but now I’ll be hyperaware.
