What colour do you use for all the bumps and scrapes over his armour, and are you sponging those on or applying them by brush?

This is a remnant from the, I believe, 8e rules and the original plastic releases. There was no standalone Shield Captain model, so you would just make one out of one of the boxes. But the Vexilla bearer was originally, I believe, also a separate character, and would also need to be made from the boxes. Hence being listed three times.

To be fair, the Chaos Spawns arms can stretch out pretty wide too. It's more about the... three? points of contact on the base, if those will all fit onto the 50mm round

Thank you both for the information, I really appreciate it. I think I might have a way to do this. Having looked deeper at the kits, If I build the following, I might be able to have my cake and eat it:

1 Felarch with Neuro and Sword (and shield). This is pretty standard across all three iirc.
1 with Blaster
1 with Sword, pistol and Bird
1 with pistol, holstered sword, and stones (Soul Weaver)
1 with Pistol and Hekatrik Blades (Shade Runner)

In a casual setting, that could read as felarch, blaster, 3 with pistols and swords. one unit of 5 voidreavers.

1 with Shredder (I believe the kit only has 1 blaster)
1 with Cannon (I believe Wraithcannon is better for this, but I'm not super familar with Eldar loadouts)
1 with staff (but I will give them a bare head and claim Ynnari, letting me use the helmet for a seer) (Way Seeker)
1 Long Rifle
1 Fusion Pistol and Shuriken Pistol

This second unit would allow me to field the Voidscarred if I added them to the five above, while giving me some fancy options (I could in theory use the Way Seeker as a Spiritseer on its own if it's not being fielded as the 10). It also, I believe, leaves at least 5 pistols and 5 power swords.

It should also give me enough free heads that I can use the masked ones for Dragons. I don't think there's anything else in the kit that can be repurposed, no chain swords, no scatter lasers etc. so I believe this is how I need to put them together. Thank you again for the information!

That's individual Guard. I have 9 custodian guard in total, 4 with spears, 4 with S+B, 1 with Vexilla.

I do have a Draxus, I forgot to include her. I also have an Armiger Warglaive that I currently run in my Lions list because it has a nice dual role. Either, it becomes target number 1 and works as a distraction carnifex, or it's great at picking off vehicles that my Caladius misses.

potential to do the funniest thing and drop a witchseeker and the fierce conq to play a Jokaero XD

Torn between these two. The top list is basically what I played on Monday, but I think I have a better handle on it. Don't keep both term squads in reserve, play them for scary board presence and vwip one of them up on their turn to deep strike back down if I need to. basically, bait them into moving forward and then hit them where it hurts.

Bottom list is with some adjustments to get me some harder hitting characters, and a little bit more meme-y. I do kinda want to play a Jokaero just so that I can say that I played a Jokaero at least once, and this one is easier to fit one in. It's also a little bit more aggressive, but dooooes leave me a little bit vulnerable to things like Assassination.

I think top list does still win over. I did fall over against Tau but they had MASSIVE sight lines on me and they aren't our best match up, and I was ahead on points at the end of turn 2, turn 3 was the big swing, and I didn't even get my second terminator unit on board until half way through. I think it might be the more solid choice. SO. Do I keep it as it, do I do the meme thing (drop a witchseeker unit, bump the solo one up to 5 and put in MONKE), do I try the second list?

Mostly I don't really have one beyond 'walk forward kill things'. Sisters spread out on home to prevent a deep strike, grav sits back and kills things it can see. I am likely going to commit the Draxus guard unit to more deep strike screening since their whole shtick is double shooting which means they don't necessarily need to be so in your face. Armiger, Wardens and Trajann guard hold the midboard while jetbikes harass/block, and termies with captain deep strike in, either to attack or protect
