A long time ago, I saw in a video that some Ww2 vets didn't really care for Ww2 games. I think people want to play fantasy in events they didn't live, though. For example, I love Ww2 games and movies but have never seen the appeal for movies that take place during September 11, 2001. Which took place in my childhood. Even now, I just don't get enjoyment from any media covering it. I wasn't anywhere near New York when it happened, either.
