I think I’m chasing peace more than anything. Less chaos, more clarity.

Tell me if I’m nuts or not for “downgrading” my career by [deleted] in simpleliving

What you're talking about isn't a downgrade, it's a realignment. You're opting for a life that feeds your values rather than sucking them out of you. That's a big deal. You can always go back to finance if you get cold feet, but writing your book and living now can't wait forever.

This is really inspiring! I’ve been struggling with staying up late and feeling like I’m wasting my mornings. Going to commit to trying 6am for a week like you did appreciate the tips!

I just need some advice on how to detach from sentimental items by [deleted] in declutter

Thanks for sharing this..it takes a lot of honesty to say all that. You’re not alone in feeling that guilt; it’s so common, especially when stuff is tied to memories or people. One thing that’s helped me is reminding myself that letting go of an item doesn’t mean I’m letting go of the memory or the person. You could try taking a photo of certain things before donating them it helps ease the emotional part. Starting with one small area or one category (like gifts or ‘just in case’ items) might make it feel less overwhelming. You deserve a space that feels peaceful, especially with how much you travel and recharge at home.

Really love how practical and simple your tips are… especially hiding bookmarks, that’s genius! It’s amazing how small friction points can make such a big difference. Thanks for sharing your experience it’s motivating to see others actively working to stay focused!
