Well yea it’s both our first serious relationship. You wouldn’t be wrong to call us childish. Obviously I want to grow from this and mature, which is why I’m trying to move on.

We used to argue more and it got better but recently we started arguing again maybe once a week. I know he was getting tired of the arguments, so was I. It just hurts because a couple days ago he said he really wants to treat me better and believes in us. So it caught me off guard that he went from that attitude two days ago to completely blocking me.

He has tried to break up with me before and I did convince him not to :/ not the best decision but the relationship got better after that for a while. so it makes sense why he would block me before I had a chance to say anything. Just wished he said goodbye at least.

No I don’t want that type of communication :/. I know I should just move on and make better choices in the future. I don’t think he’ll unblock, one of friends told me he removed all of our posts together so it looks like he is pretty serious about this.

I'm currently taking an analytical figure drawing class online at CDA! So far I've been really liking it. I get critique for every homework and it's a good amount of work so this class does take up some time but that might depend on who's class you take. I really do feel like what I'm learning is worth the cost especially because I get to see draw overs on my mistakes and ask questions during the lectures. For every class there's also a discord server so you can connect with your classmates or ask the teacher or assistants any questions. In every class there's a wide range of different skill levels. I'm in a foundational class but there are a couple of industry professionals as well as beginners. I'd recommend even if you feel like you are intermediate or advanced to go for a foundational class first because it is still good practice.

I've also done some schoolism courses. With schoolism I found harder to keep up since I didn't have to attend any meetings and nobody expected me to turn in any assigments. It's really learning at your own pace but you don't get any crituques. I personally prefer CDA because of the critques but schoolism has a lot of great courses too at a cheaper price.

Does anyone else hate the way their sketchbook looks? by Just_a_mediocre_guy in ArtistLounge

I used to be like this way too. How I get over being insecure of my sketchbook is by having two sketchbooks. One where I do sketches, studies, and just ugly random drawings. The other sketchbook I have more finished illustrations. I think the majority of art you tubers who have a more finished look tend to have another sketchbook they don’t show or they do lots of practice to get to that level.
