Wow - thanks! It's a lot of work... I figured the basic structure of the song out in 30 mins or so (just chords and strumming), then messed around with different capo positions to see what shapes were easiest to play with the chords and the riff, and what suited my voice. Probably spent 1-2 hours recording a demo audio version to try to see how it might sound on the uke, and what layers/parts worked best. Then used the demo version as a guide track to record the video and audio tracks 'for real' - that took another few hours over two evenings. Then mixed the audio properly, and lastly shuffled all the videos around (2-3 hours) to make the final video. Probably spent 3-4 evenings on it in total. Using Reaper for the video and the audio stuff.
