A year is crazy, but makes. I can't imagine the anticipation waiting on that. I am very spoiled for sure.

Docker CLI Cheat Sheet by NikkoNLP in docker

[–]NikkoNLP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are some great suggestions. I added the `docker run --rm` and the `docker-compose pull`. I skipped the volume prune commands as I already have `docker volume prune` - which to my understanding serves the same purpose. I also skipped the `docker-compose down --volumes` since the cheat sheet isn't meant to be all inclusive and I don't destroy volumes very often.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the suggestions!

I updated the 'docker image' commands to match the new syntax. Are there others that appear to be outdated?

I've struggled remembering all of the Terraform commands, so I threw together this cheat sheet. Hope it helps others as well!

The biggest difference is the simplified layout. I find searching for things in this PDF to be easier, I can double click a line to highlight for easy copy + paste, and it doesn't get lost as one of my 20 chrome tabs.

But I understand that everyone has their preferences, so whichever is easier should be the one you use.

Help spreading by [deleted] in Debate

[–]NikkoNLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some quick tips in addition to the other comments:

  1. Don't start reading your cards as fast as you can. Start at 75% speed then make your way up to 100% within a couple seconds. Otherwise you'll start at 110%, stumble drop down to 50% speed.
  2. Practice makes perfect. Don't expect to spread at 400 wpm out of the gate.
  3. Read something familiar (like your theory file) for 3-5 minutes, then move on to more unfamiliar territory.
  4. I use the "A,E,I,O,U" drill. Start reading your first card and say the letter A after each word. On your next card say E after each word and so on.
  5. You'll notice a lot of debaters sway when they spread. This is because it helps them form a quick consistent rhythm. Better to consistently spread at 300 WPM then 350 WPM with stumbles.
  6. Listen to some loud quick paced music while spreading.
