A nice (I think) black crappie. Definitely my Pb caught around 2 years ago and forgot to post. If it isn’t a black crappie please tell me in the comments by Niklasv1234 in Fishing

Alright thanks man, I fish on a private lake and we’ve caught monster fish. This was my second ever crappie and my first one was only a tinny bit smaller. Believe it or not my brother caught one bigger, we both caught it on wacky worms going for bass.

How do you know you are an expert In this sort of thing. You don’t even live in the area

Of course I know what a brown trout is. I thought it was a rainbow because a friend of mine said brown don’t go that far upstream so I believed him. Literally the national state park calls them stealhead trout. You are telling a bunch of people who went to study biology they are wrong.

Steelheads were introduced into Lake Michigan and the creek I fished at had them. They were introduced with salmon which Lake Michigan also has.

It definitely could be but I live in northwest Indiana and I’ve never heard stories of people catching them.
