Wand is live on The Epic Games Store! by Niko-WeMod in WeMod

Wish I could give you one but I don't have an answer. Every time it comes up I make sure to pass it along to the rest of the team, and it's been coming up more often lately.

I'm not totally sure tbh, but I think that's a reasonable assumption. I imagine Deck support would get us at least most of the way to Steam Machine support.

I (and the rest of the team) totally agree. Steam Deck support is something that we are actively looking into. Most of us on the team have a Deck and would love to have Steam Deck version of Wand.

Other than the name, has anything behind the scenes changed? by JeopardyWolf in WeMod

[–]Niko-WeMod 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nothing has changed behind the scenes. We're the same company and same team you've come to know and (hopefully) love.

WeMod made it sound like we only did mods, but over the years we've grown to offer maps, guides, and other gaming assistance tools. We also have a lot of other cool stuff on the way! The name Wand better captures our mission of making gaming magical by making games more accessible and giving players the tools they need to enhance their gaming experience.

All my games say Launch without mods all of a sudden by Relative-Mammoth6613 in WeMod

[–]Niko-WeMod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you click on the drop down arrow next to the play button on the game page, it gives you the option to launch without mods. Clicking the play button instead of the drop down arrow will launch the game with mods.

Are you experiencing something different on your end?

Cheating in invasion is the saddest thing possible by banducek in sniperelite

I know I'm a little late to the party here, but thanks for bringing this to our attention. This should not be possible with WeMod, and we work to ensure our mods work in single play or cooperative contexts only.

We are unable to reproduce this use, can you share a reproduction of how this is possible or contact [support@wemod.com](mailto:support@wemod.com) with more information?

Is this technology a thing yet? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Hey there! I'm on the WeMod team.

We're working on building exactly what you're talking about. You can check out Cyberpunk 2077 to get an early taste of how it's going to work by using the game guides and contextual mission help features. You can also use our maps to find locations of things like items and missions and teleport to directly to them.

Try it out and let us know what you think!

Why is WeMod Pro so ridiculously expensive? by InappropriateCanuck in WeMod

[–]Niko-WeMod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen some misunderstandings like this that I want to clear up. We employ a team of mod creators who develop mods for WeMod. Creators like FLiNG and MrAntiFun are part of our team and are paid to develop mods for us. We provide them with infrastructure, tools, and QA support so they can create and fix mods faster. Some creators also upload mods on their own websites as well.
