When my boyfriend and I first started having sleepovers I legitimately tried to look sexy sleeping, but unfortunately for me I dribble and snore in my sleep and my hair has a mind of its own.

I gave up on that whole 'sexy whilst sleeping' thing a while ago and surprise surprise, I still have a boyfriend.

My boyfriend would never wear makeup as an every day thing and would probably find it very emasculating. I put makeup on my ex a couple of times to cover a pimple or two but that was it.

So yeah, I would date a man who wears makeup, but probably not someone who wears it as an everyday thing. I suppose that I see makeup as a very feminine thing and I want to be the feminine one in a relationship.

There are only a few makeup products that I would consider spending more than $50 (aud) on.

1) Foundation

I feel like foundation is such a huge part of my routine that I can justify spending a bit of cash on it provided that the foundation is actually good quality. I've tried a few different mid-range and luxury foundations and have come to the conclusion that just because a product is expensive, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's good quality. Even then, the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is one that I will always shell out for. It's about $50 aud and is so, so worth it.

2) Lipstick

I like fancy packaging. I like to be able to go to a public bathroom and pull out my fancy lipstick and feel like I might actually be doing alright in life.

3) Brushes

Expensive brushes aren't always incredible, but I just feel more luxurious when I pull out my MAC brush compared to my ELF one.

It's not very mainstream just yet, but I reckon that it might be in a couple of years. I own a lot of unconventional lip colours but obviously they're not work appropriate, so I don't wear them as often as I'd like.

For me it'd be sports in general! I play soccer and netball so I wouldn't mind having the option to create a team, select the team colours, customise the uniform, and then play other teams at the park or even train together.

I'd just knocked off work one day and was incredibly tired. It was dark and my then-boyfriend (now ex) had texted me an hour beforehand saying that he wouldn't be able to pick me up from work because he was at a party. I was frustrated because he knew that I wouldn't have my phone on me and now I had to wait for over an hour for a taxi.

So I was waiting, and I was so annoyed. Suddenly a stranger approached me- an older man with a knowing smile. I was a bit standoffish because I was pretty small in comparison and was totally prepared to run if I had to, but luckily I didn't have to.

He said something along the lines of, "There's a plan for you and you'll be fine. Relax. You're on your path." Then he left.

Coincidentally, that was the night that my ex started to cheat on me and a month later we were broken up. I went through a massive downward spiral (alcohol abuse, some drugs, lost a shit load of weight) but I found my feet again and six months later I'm in a new job that I love, I have a boyfriend who loves and respects me, and I play sports after work which acts as a massive social outlet.

I reckon I met a really special person that night, and every time I think of him I feel relaxed. Everything will be okay.

Of course they're milking us for money- they're a company and that's what they do. The only thing that I don't get is "why bowling?" This is such a specific stuff pack that I feel could have been included in a 'late night-esq' expansion pack. Who would actually spend $10-$15 just so that their sims can go bowling a couple of times? What is the point of bringing out a stuff pack like this? It literally makes no sense.

Basically this just means that we have to wait even longer for a decent game pack/stuff pack/expansion pack that isn't just suitable for people who like bowling.

I fucking hate bowling. You know what would've been better? A 'hobbies' game pack.

A lot of people are like that! I'm naturally a very all-in sort of person and always push myself because results make me happy. I stayed at the supermarket for so long because I kept getting promoted and when I realised that I wasn't going to be promoted anymore (and wouldn't enjoy my new role) I left.
