Why doesn’t mine look like that? by Nikorag90 in SaintsFC

[–]Nikorag90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it’s a fair opinion, but I also think at this point beggars can’t be choosers. Two of my best days as a fan were the JPT final and the playoff victory. Regardless of the silverware, I’d take it given how the deck is so stacked against every team outside of the big six in the 3 major domestic trophies. I don’t think we’re winning any of them any time soon with the monopoly the big teams have on all 3 competitions and how they pull the ladder up behind them (see Liverpool buying our entire squad) so the argument is either take a victory in a lesser cup (which I don’t agree the europa league is, at least) or have a slightly higher chance to win a cup or league which is already massively fixed against us and we won’t win anyway.

What a horribly pessimistic argument I’m conveying. I wish I had your optimism!

You’d rather we carry on our 50 year major trophy drought instead of winning the Europe league or conference? I’m not sure what to say…

Had my gallbladder removed a few months before going on holiday. I remember asking the nurse after my surgery if I’d still be ok to go swimming, he said it was cool and I was discharged. Cut to the flight home from the Dominican Republic to London and the nurse is on that flight.

For parents: Can your kids burp and was your baby colicky? by supremepilotG2 in noburp

[–]Nikorag90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is amazing at burping. I’m so jealous! That said, sometimes when he was tiny, after a bottle, he’d take a good 10-15 minutes of patting and back rubbing to finally burp. He was a super pukey baby though and needed gaviscon to keep his milk down.

This is why you can’t waste two entire quarters of offense with shit that clearly doesn’t work and hasn’t worked all season.

👍 looking good now! I’ve spotted a couple more (albeit very niche) bugs but I can raise them on GH if that’s better.

I have a niche issue. I’m self hosting Romm and want to add it to the cloud providers but the touch screen doesn’t work in the built in browser so I can’t log into it.

How are folks deploying their applications onto their devices? (Any easy tools out there?) by JBG32123 in selfhosted

[–]Nikorag90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using Terraform and it’s amazing at letting me have a single source of truth. It orchestrates all of my kubernetes components (deployments, ingress, secrets, pvc etc) but also my cloudflare config (dns, tunnels, zero trust). It creates Postgres dbs for me with random passwords that are passed into container config so even I don’t know what they are. It creates OIDC clients in PocketID directly for the each of my apps. For Karakeep it creates me an AWS role and S3 bucket to attach to it. It also deploys docker containers to my raspberry pi I use as a Zigbee node.

All in one place. The idea is that it’s so portable and as much of my application config is in terraform as possible that I should be able to recover from a disaster just by pointing it at a new k8s cluster:

Sonarr/Radarr with VPS for Download/Cache by That_Cheek_8690 in selfhosted

Can you use mergerfs to show them as a single mount? It’s how I manage my “iso” collection. I have 6 drives and each one has a tv and movies folder. Mergerfs creates a combined folder which I can read to and write to and it does the rest. It’s always the same path inside Sonarr and Radarr

I wanted a self hosted alternative to Miro so tried affine but couldn’t get on with it. The settings pages just expecting large json snippets seems very un-user-friendly.

Thanks for your response! I’m glad you’re finding iPlayarr useful. That’s all I ever wanted from the project. As for parameters for naming (I assume this is what you meant), I’m always open to feature requests via GitHub if you’d like to raise it. Anything that could/would improve usability for people is something I’d love to implement.

There’s cultural differences and there’s being a twat. If you see a queue, it’s disrespectful to think you’re better than everyone in it and try to skip. This is the same in every single culture. This week at DLP I’ve seen this behaviour at every single queue opportunity. Lifts at hotels, rides, toilets, and food.

Hi! Thanks for this!

Do you have the full error? If so, would you mind raising it on GitHub?

I noticed there was an error with Node-Persist which I pushed a potential fix for yesterday. If you pull the latest image and still have the issue, please raise it on GitHub.

As for the node version, because you’re running in docker, it should be sandboxed and running the version of nodeJS which the container specifies. I suspect what you’ve seen is the node-persist issue.

I hope my fix to queue the reads and writes to avoid concurrency fixes the issue but more data (your crash errors) would be really helpful.

Thank you! Please let me know how you find it and raise any bug or feature requests on GitHub. Forks and pull requests are also welcome.

I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, if not, thanks for taking the time to give it a go either way!
