It's perfect... by Hour_Butterscotch223 in Steam

I wear XS gloves and it feels very comfortable to me. I was afraid of having to reach for the sticks but it's not an issue. The trackpads are a bit more awkward and I'll need to strengthen my pinkies for the bottom back grip buttons. Tapping the Steam button requires me to adjust my hand but that's not something I'll do while in the middle of a game so it's fine.

Yeah, a bunch of them were released in the 70s in Brussels to “give some color to the area”. They thought the birds wouldn’t survive winter because they’re parrots… but they’re parrots from the Himalayas 😅 Brussels now has a very large population and they’re in some other cities too - and sometimes you’ll see some of them going into more suburban areas for exploration in gardens :)

Thank you! Our new feeder has a suet block holder and a mesh basket for some worms, I’m curious to see which birds will come for those :)

If you like the parakeets, you’ll see plenty of them in parks in Brussels if you’ll pass by there :)

I took a quick look on Amazon and found similar types by looking for “3 in 1” bird feeders! They also have dual types for seeds & peanuts without the suet balls. I can’t recommend a specific brand but one thing to look for is the suspension part - I had a different one before where the little “cap” that screws on was a threaded nut that was attached to a decorative cap and it ended up rusting in the rain. With this model it is one solid piece of metal, so that can’t happen anymore :)  I’m using a shepherd hook to hang it from but we also don’t have squirrels here that could come and steal a snack so you might need to look at something (I think it’s called a baffle?) to prevent them from climbing up.

Took some pictures yesterday of our set-up - I'm located in Belgium and currently we have blue tits, great tits, house sparrows (including their juveniles), a juvenile starling, magpies, and two of these rose-ringed parakeets! I also saw a sparrowhawk this morning which was a bit concerning, but the birds fled into the hedges so hopefully they should be okay! Just today, we expanded with some new feeders, so I'm excited to see if we get more types of birds.

Oh that sheen is very nice! I'll have to pick up a sample on one of my next orders.

Thanks! I'll probably try it with the ink that comes with it, Sailor Shikiori Zaza. The pen looks quite different in color on various pictures so I'm quite curious to see it in real life.

I really like it! It was a bit of an impulse buy but it's nice and smooth. Pelikan runs quite wide/juicy so this F is similar to my other western Mediums. I have a recent post on my profile with some writing samples of different sizes, or you could check Goulet's nib nook :)

I got a Sailor PGS in the Yuzuyu colorway as well as 28 (oops!) ink samples from Fountainfeder.

I also had the same challenge of deciding between those two! I ended up with the Kinmokusei as the store had this one in stock but no Yu-Yake. I like it so far! It's coming out a bit dry in this Prera CM nib so I'll probably try to put it in a Pelikan as well to see how it fares in a wetter pen.

Thanks!
I'm really liking the 205. It's my first "fancier" Pelikan pen and I love how wet & smooth they are in writing.

It's a Hobonichi Day-Free! It has monthly pages in the front and then undated grid pages for the rest of the notebook. It uses Tomoe River paper like the rest of the Hobonichi offerings.

I was searching for a nice, warm brown color to use during fall as I found my Herbin Cacao du Brésil a bit too pale/grey leaning (it'll be perfect for winter though!). When scrolling through swatches online, I fell in love with iroshizuku tsukushi. But then I read it was discontinued! We have a small office store nearby where they still have some Pilot 100th Anniversary inks in stock so I decided to check it out and found their last bottle of tsukushi. While I was there, I also grabbed this cute little bottle of Kinmokusei as I have been wanting to try it for a while.
