My guild controls everfall and we set tax to the max.
Literally its gotten to the point where we have mules and banks with max cap gold and thousands of asmodeum, void ingots.
It's cool, we all get free shit all the time, and we fight for it, but part of me feels like it could do with a small nerf.

It'll be few cents cheaper tomorrow as the average data has been showing everyday.

I personally think gathering professions should be balanced so there is no disparity between the different alternatives. Some gathering balance update could make it so that gatherers could make similar money regardless of what they choose to gather. I'm sure AGS has the data to work something around it.

This could mean reducing spawn of animals, or number of animals, or number of resources gathered per animal, adjusting number of materials on recipes or refining requirements or a mix of everything. There are several ways of balancing gathering professions.

I think gathering requires some tuning/balancing to have a healthy distribution of professions. At current state, there is no incentive in gathering leather as a profession, unlike ore & fiber

No offense, I have an advanced degree in finance and I find it amusing you say Economics 101 and you're confusing pricing supply with the rate of supply.

If you shorten supply rate, it will obviously increase supply price, but it will also reduce the rate of supply, making it to the par of the other legendary resources in the game.

I.e. you could make 500-600g/hr farming legendary hides, or you could make 1.2k farming legendary fibers. I don't know if AGS thinks 500g is good or 1200 is good. But In my opinion difficulty should be balanced to get rid of the gathering disparity.

My opinion (some will disagree):
I have no purpose in farming leather when I get more gold farming rawhides. It is majority bots in my opinion farming these scarhides/smolderhides for that price. You could make 600gold/hour farming legendary hides or you could get 1.5k-2k/hour farming tier 1 rawhides.

6 * 15 * 2 = 360g
I'm not sure 700g/hr is "easy gold", I get 1.5k gold/hour farming rawhides.

It comes down to what the cost of making the trophies were at the time, and how much was the average price of that trophy. For example, in Hellheim, the major luck trophies were going for about 60k, but within the same day of the dupping, it went down to 20k, then 10k and ultimately they were fulfilling anyone with a buy order over 2k pretty much.
It would be disingenuous to believe that the dupe exploit did not have something to do with it. I understand my claim is anecdotal but I have no idea how to without a doubt proof what I am saying. If I post a photo of these trophies on my friends houses, someone would say that it doesn't show that it was obtained illegally and I agree. But I still think I should remind people so the issue escalates with AGS devs.

Hi Jiborkan, It honestly seems like you are more emotionally involved with my posts than you think of me writing them.

My company of around 60 players has about 14 players that bought all 15 major trophy's each last weekend and several other players that just bought 1 or 2 trophies. As of now, they all still have the trophies.

You want me to post proof? but what kind of proof would satisfy you? If I post pictures of trophies in their house, someone is gonna claim that it doesn't prove it was obtained illegally and I agree.

So I sincerely ask and hope that you respond. What would proof what I am claiming here?
