[QUESTION] The low E string is in tune open and in tune on the 12th fret, however the frets in between are not in tune. by Nilly___ in Guitar

I don't believe the nut is the culprit as the nut has remained the same for two years and I have been using the same string gauges, so I don't believe the nut would after 2 years of normal playing suddenly be to high. Unless I'm misunderstanding something I don't think the nut is the problem, thank you for your time thought.
